God’s Word – But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.  Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 1Peter 2:9-10

Forty Days of Prayer- Faith – Observing our faith during the Pentecost-
The one who calls you is faithful! [1 Thessalonians 5] So as we enter this journey through his faithfulness, sisters write those verses that speak to you personally on the tablet of your heart.  Let God’s love and faithfulness never leave you.  Bind them on the tablet of you heart.  Let the Holy Spirit come in and lead you through counsel of God’s Word that is truth.

We are going to be praying through God’s Word …

– The more I read the word of God, the more I see our need to revisit the same issues that God so wants to transform us in.  It took forty years for the children of Israel to enter the promise land what should have been just a few days. They were a stiff necked people who got to see the glory of the Lord and still did not believe or act on “Faith”… As you enter in the presence of The Almighty God today in prayer, remember to pray in faith being devoted, watchful and thankful in all the blessings that are poured in you.  The blessing of the Lord be with you.

Heavenly Father,
How excellent is your name upon all the earth… Your love is unending, your glorious presence is here with us. We thank you for the gift of Christ… We also thank you for forgiving us for our many transgressions and sins. Help us to be devoted to you by living according to your word- Your daughters will seek to obey, because your word states; To obey is better than sacrifice.  Your daughters will devote themselves  to prayer,  being watchful and thankful for all you do for us.  We thank you for bringing us from strength to strength-glory  to glory by your spirit.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Challenge: Keep a journal and write those scriptures that speak to you in a personal way.  It will be a great tool to see your growth through  God’s Word.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
