God’s Word: For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Proverbs 2:10

Wisdom Shared:  The one reassuring benefit of wisdom is that it will guide you through any and all circumstances in life.  The more one reads God’s word the bible … the more transforming grace occurs within our entire spiritual being.  There is only victory ahead for those whom seek the wisdom of God through the presence of Christ in us that brings us strength.

May this Proverb richly bless you as you move through your day and walk in faith.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

Proverbs 2
Moral Benefits of Wisdom

2 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding—
3 indeed, if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
7 He holds success in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
8 for he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones.

9 Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path.
10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
11 Discretion will protect you,
and understanding will guard you.

12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
from men whose words are perverse,
13 who have left the straight paths
to walk in dark ways,
14 who delight in doing wrong
and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,
15 whose paths are crooked
and who are devious in their ways.

16 Wisdom will save you also from the adulterous woman,
from the wayward woman with her seductive words,
17 who has left the partner of her youth
and ignored the covenant she made before God.a]” style=”box-sizing: border-box”>[a]
18 Surely her house leads down to death
and her paths to the spirits of the dead.
19 None who go to her return
or attain the paths of life.

20 Thus you will walk in the ways of the good
and keep to the paths of the righteous.
21 For the upright will live in the land,
and the blameless will remain in it;
22 but the wicked will be cut off from the land,
and the unfaithful will be torn from it.

God’s Intentional Inspiration:

PROVERBS …for gaining wisdom and instruction;
for understanding words of insight; Proverbs 1:2

Wisdom Shared: Today as I reflect on my very own personal study time… Seeking the Bible; Gaining words of wisdom along with inspiration to move forward and upward in God’s divine plan for life today… I wanted to send encouragement  as you move through your day on this first day of May… to get into an attitude of wisdom – for wisdom is power.  It directs our heart, mind and journey through faith by the power of Christ in us.  It is through God’s Holy Presence we can be empowered to move as directed by instruction of the word of God and the prompting of the Holy Spirit deposited in us.  Wisdom is a valuable tool that brings us revelation … restoration and motivation to act in faith; through obedience and love.

May the words of this Chapter of Proverbs richly bless you as you mover through your day!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

In Christ Love,

Proverbs 1

Purpose and Theme

1 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:

2 for gaining wisdom and instruction;
for understanding words of insight;
3 for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
doing what is right and just and fair;
4 for giving prudence to those who are simple,
knowledge and discretion to the young—
5 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance—
6 for understanding proverbs and parables,
the sayings and riddles of the wise.[b]

7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools[c] despise wisdom and instruction.

Prologue: Exhortations to Embrace Wisdom

Warning Against the Invitation of Sinful Men

8 Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction
and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
9 They are a garland to grace your head
and a chain to adorn your neck.

10 My son, if sinful men entice you,
do not give in to them.
11 If they say, “Come along with us;
let’s lie in wait for innocent blood,
let’s ambush some harmless soul;
12 let’s swallow them alive, like the grave,
and whole, like those who go down to the pit;
13 we will get all sorts of valuable things
and fill our houses with plunder;
14 cast lots with us;
we will all share the loot”—
15 my son, do not go along with them,
do not set foot on their paths;
16 for their feet rush into evil,
they are swift to shed blood.
17 How useless to spread a net
where every bird can see it!
18 These men lie in wait for their own blood;
they ambush only themselves!
19 Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain;
it takes away the life of those who get it.

Wisdom’s Rebuke

20 Out in the open wisdom calls aloud,
she raises her voice in the public square;
21 on top of the wall[d] she cries out,
at the city gate she makes her speech:

22 “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery
and fools hate knowledge?
23 Repent at my rebuke!
Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings.
24 But since you refuse to listen when I call
and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,
25 since you disregard all my advice
and do not accept my rebuke,
26 I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you—
27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you.

28 “Then they will call to me but I will not answer;
they will look for me but will not find me,
29 since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the Lord.
30 Since they would not accept my advice
and spurned my rebuke,
31 they will eat the fruit of their ways
and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
32 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 but whoever listens to me will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm.

God’s Love: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Encouragement Shared:
Holy Week is the most precious time in all the year…
It is a time of reverence and awe in the awesome Glory of Christ!
God’s Perfect Plan:
I came that they may have life and may have it abundantly. John 10:10
The bible says that the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:17

Choose to Receive –

The bible states: Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God– To see this love, to be part of this family of believers is just to look to cross.
I encourage you, that as you reflect on this Good Friday look to the cross and God’s Word and see it is through Jesus’ death on the cross we have been redeemed, forgiven accepted and loved. All that is required for us to do is trust, commit, delight and be still before the great “I AM.” He gave you the most wonderful gift Jesus Christ…

Recognize the Need of Christ-
No one is righteous, no not one- we are made righteous through Christ – [Romans 3] His death burial and resurrection.
We need to recognize our sin, ask for forgiveness and receive Jesus into our life; heart, mind and spirit…
If you have not prayed the prayer to accept Christ as your personal Savior just repeat the following prayer: You can receive Christ right now, God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as he is with the attitude of your heart.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
I open up my heart…
I invite you inside…
To be my God…
To be my Savior…
Forgive me of my sins, wash me clean, and make me new…
Thank you for dying on the cross for me and giving me eternal life.
Make me all that you want me to be.
In your precious name I pray AMEN!
