Proverbs 7 – Warnings against the Adulterer…

Heavenly Father,

You Lord are Holy God.  You Lord are a loving and gracious God that has wash us clean by the Holy Word breathed out by you.  You have removed our sins as far as the east and west.  We rejoice in the victories you give. We thank you Father for Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.  That took on our transgressions and sins at Calvary.  Help to show that same pure love through forgiveness and mercy toward those who would sin against us so that we may not see bitterness dwell within us. The writer of the Proverbs share; At the window of my house; I looked out through the lattice.  I saw among the simple, I noticed among the young men, a youth who lacked judgment.  May we heed your warnings and hide in the shadow of your wing. Teach us your ways Lord, and direct our paths so that we will not behave in simple ways or lack judgment. He was going down the street near her corner, walking along in the direction of her house at twilight, as the day was fading, as the dark of night set in.  Then out came a woman to meet him, dressed like a prostitute and with crafty intent. We will steer clear of the ways of the adulterer at all times of the day.  We will not seek the company of the (One who is loud and defiant, their feet never stay at home;  now in the street, now in the squares, at every corner they lurk.)  We will keep our eyes on Jesus our King of kings and Lord of lords so that we may not be snared by the behavior of the wicked adulterer and not take hold of them nor kissed them; nor speak with words that cause a snare:  “We will have fellowship offerings only with you at Father and look to fulfill our vows with only you Lord.  We will not look to meet with danger that snares on when they come out to meet the adulterer; we will seek you while you may be found and draw close to you Father while you are near.  We give you all the glory in all the victories that you bring into our lives through you word of truth that continually brings us faith and hope through your promise. And we know Father that hope does not disappoint Thank you, Father for your word of hope…In Jesus name we pray…Amen!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
