Proverbs 11- Righteousness and Honesty brings life –

Heavenly Father,
We sing to you; Lord O’ Lord, How majestic is your name!  You know our coming in and our going out… You knew us even before we were formed in our mother’s womb.  We thank you Father because we are fearfully and wonderfully made.  We will love you our God with all our heart, with all our soul and all our strength.  May we love one another deeply because love covers all wrongs…You LORD abhor dishonest scales, but accurate weights are your delight. We seek to keep your word, and not shame you in our dishonesty. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Your daughter s will seek humility; you oppose the proud, but give grace to the humble.  Your daughters will live through the integrity of the upright because it guides us,   but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.  Let us not be destroyed in our unfaithfulness and duplicity Father.  Your word reminds us wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers your daughters from death.   The righteousness of the blameless makes a straight way for them, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.  Father let not our wickedness rule over us. The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires.  Deliver us
Father, from the evil desires of our flesh.  May your Daughters capture those evil desires that lead to death.  May we be faithful to seek you and seek for your strength through your word of hope.  Protect us from evil and temptation.  Strengthen us by your word.  Your word gives us purpose…  Thank you for keeping us drawn close under the shadow of your wing.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
