God’s Word – Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control. Proverbs 25:28

Proverbs 25 Self-Control- is visible through humility and honoring the Lord…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Hasten, O God, to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me. May those who seek our life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire our ruin be turned back in disgrace.  May those who say to us, “Aha! Aha!”
turn back because of their shame.  But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, “Let God be exalted!” Father…  Yet we are poor and needy; come quickly to us, O God.
You are our help and our deliverer; O LORD, do not delay. Protect us from evil… Let our hearts not be troubled but trust in you through your unfailing love.  We thank you for the forgiveness of our sins, may we forgive others who sin against us just as you have forgiven us for our transgressions and sins.  You are our shepherd we shall not be in want; you will lead us to still waters; you will anoint us with oil.  You are our joy and our strength! Like a muddied spring or a polluted well, is a righteous man who gives way to the wicked.   Let us not submit to the wicked mans ways.  It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable to seek one’s own honor.  You esteem those who are broken and contrite and tremble at your word.  We will take instruction from your word; to judge justly, love mercy and walk humbly before you.  Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.  There is a way that seems right to a man but in the end it leads to death.  We will write the attributes of the fruits of the spirit that is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against these things there is no law.  We will seek to write the word on hearts so that we would not sin against you and maintain self-control.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
