God’s Word

A wise man’s heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction. Proverbs 16:23

Proverbs 16 The Wise – their words are guided by their wise heart and promote instruction

Heavenly Father,

Your daughters will praise you LORD, you are good; Yes, we will sing praise to your Holy name, for that is pleasant. You LORD have chosen us to be your own … We know that you LORD are great, that our Lord is greater than all gods.  Thank you Father for your mighty works; thank you for your love and your faithfulness; You LORD do whatever pleases you, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths. You make clouds rise from the ends of the earth; you send lightning with the rain and bring out the wind from your storehouses…We rejoice in your righteous works that endures all things… We thank you Father for the forgiveness of our transgressions and sins.  We will forgive others as you have forgiven us. We will seek the whole counsel of your word to increase our faith and to attain godly wisdom.  The word instructs:  A wise man’s heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction. Help us to speak pleasant words because they are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Let us not forget our righteousness is only through Christ.   We thank you for the gift of Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of your throne We will keep to remembrances Jesus: who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that  we would not grow weary or lose heart. Thank you for grace and glory in each of our lives.  We will rejoice in all the victories you bring in our lives, our husbands, our children and in future generations.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
