God’s Word – Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. 1Timothy 4:15

Proverbs 12 Diligent Hands will rule…

Heavenly Father,

We will praise you our God, … , let the sound of your praise be heard; you Father have preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping. Thank you for preserving our lives in the midst of our troubles. For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver.  Create in us a pure heart and right spirit within us: Do not cast your daughters from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from us. Restore to us the joy of your salvation and grant us a willing spirit, to sustain us. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that teaches guides and counsels us.  Thank you for the gift of salvation through our Lord and King Jesus Christ.  Protect us from evil and let not our hearts be drawn to what is evil in your sight.  We thank you Father for the forgiveness of our transgressions and sins.  We will love one another deeply and forgive as you as forgiven us.  Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.  We will remain diligent in our work, we will work as if working for you Father and not for man.  An anxious heart weighs a man down, but a kind word cheers him up. We will use healing words, the tongue of the wise brings forth healing.  A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.  We will not befriend an angry man or else we will learn their ways.  Thank you for our daily provision that you provide for us in abundance.  We will seek you through your word that sustains us in times of trouble. We will not fear; we desire to be obedient children that will receive the best of the land.  Thank you for the joy of your presence.  We will rejoice in you and all the works of your hands.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
