God’s Word – Has not my hand made all these things,

Proverbs 11 Humility vs. Pride

Heavenly Father,

You are awesome in your glory and might!  Your bring victory for us in the face of adversity.  We thank you for the victories you bring.  Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet  your daughters will rejoice in you LORD,
we will be joyful in our God our Savior. You The Sovereign LORD are our strength; you make our feet like the feet of a deer, you enable us to go on the heights. We desire to obey your commands, write them on the tablet of our hearts, let them be inscribed in our minds so that we would not sin against you! Thank you for the gift of Christ, leading us glory to glory – strength to strength… Continue to lead us to the rock that is higher than us.  Thank you for the forgiveness of our transgressions and sins.  We will exalt others higher than our selves.  We will forgive others as you have forgiven us.  We will remember what the words of Christ are in regard to forgiveness; For if we forgive men when they sin against us, our heavenly Father will also forgive us. But if we do not forgive men their sins, our Father will not forgive our sins. You LORD abhor dishonest scales, but accurate weights are your delight. When pride comes, then come disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Your word teaches us Father; you oppose the proud but give grace to the humble…The one that you esteem Father are those who have a broken and contrite heart and tremble at your word.  May your word cause us to be women of integrity and revealing to us through a heart of contrition.   The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Let us not be destroyed by our duplicity, let us be like obedient children that will receive your wisdom, understanding and knowledge through the counsel of your word.  Thank you for your protection over our lives.  May we continue to seek you and find you through your word of truth.  Thank you for the provision in abundance you provide for us daily in all areas of our life.  We will rejoice in your presence!  Thank you for the answer to all our prayers.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
