God’s Word –  From the fruit of his mouth a man’s stomach is filled;  with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied. Proverbs 18:20

Proverbs 17 Fruitful Lips endure forever…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
How excellent is your name upon all the earth? We give thanks to your awesome glory and might… We give thanks to the beauty of your word.  We will sing praise to you with all our heart.  We will declare all you wondrous works.  Send forth your light and your truth, let them guide us; let them bring us to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Then will we go to the altar of God, to you God, our joy and our delight. We will praise you…   O God, our God.  Strengthen us with your unfailing love.  Thank you for giving us the gift of Christ to be our strength, our joy and our Lord and King. Thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit with in us. Protect us from evil, and let not our hearts be drawn to what is evil in your sight.  Keep drawn close to you, under the shadow of your wing.  Your daughters desire to judge justly, love mercy and walk humbly before you.   We will repent quickly and love deeply and forgive as you have forgiven us. May the words of our mouth and meditation of our hearts be acceptable, you are our rock and our redeemer.  Your word shows us: From the fruit of his mouth a man’s stomach is filled;  with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied. Set a guard over our mouth, O LORD; keep watch over the door of our lips. Let not our heart be drawn to what is evil, to take part in wicked deeds with men who are evildoers; The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.  We will speak healing words, word of encouragement, because your word states knowledge puffs up but love builds up!  We will build up with love.  He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.  Your daughters will seek to be the wife of noble character as written in Proverbs 31 to seek good for her husband and her household.  A man of many companions may come to ruin,  but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Thank you Father, for those divine friendships you put before us that also sharpen our swords through the word of truth. Thank you for those divine friendships that encourage us daily, because of the deceitfulness of sins destruction.  Thank you for equipping us with the power of your word to do good works in Jesus name that you call us to. We will keep in perfect peace, we will keep our eye on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith who took on our shame and pain at the cross at Calvary.  Thank for the advance answers to all our prayers, thank you for answering us when we call out to you.  It is in Jesus name we pray…Amen!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
