Proverbs 16 Pride- The pride of our heart fools us…


Heavenly Father,
How excellent is your name upon all the earth… We will Rejoice in you Lord always. We will say it again: Rejoice!  We thank you for the anointing you have poured out on us.  We thank you for the gift of Christ, equipping us for every good work you have called us to do in the name of Jesus our Lord and King!  We will let our gentleness be evident to all. You Lord are near. Your daughters will not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, we present our requests to you the God of our salvation. And your peace Lord, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus. We come before you and ask for your forgiveness for our transgressions and sins.  We will love deeply, repent quickly and forgive as you have forgiven us through mercy and grace.  Your word instructs us: The wise in heart are called discerning,
and pleasant words promote instruction.  We will speak peace, we will promote others in love, because knowledge puffs up we know that love builds up. Remove the pride from our hearts that keeps us in imprisoned.   Understanding is a fountain of life to those who have it, but folly brings punishment to fools.  We will seek to gain wisdom and understanding and forsake our foolish ways; your word shows us that foolish words invite a beating.  A wise man’s heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction. Place a guard over the door of our lips, hear our prayers may they be like incense…Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. Help us to speak healing words; we know that the tongue of the wise promotes healing.  Your daughters will think on these things; whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— we think about these things. Whatever we have learned or received or heard from your word of truth…. — we will put it into practice. And you the God of peace will be with us, our spouses, our entire household.  We thank you for your provision and protection over our lives.  Strengthen us through your word Father so that when trials or suffering does come we will stand firm in you word through peace, love and joy of your presence.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!
