God’s Word –The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. Psalm 23:1

Proverbs 13 Fearless

Heavenly Father,
The LORD is our shepherd; we shall not be in want.  You make us lie down in green pastures, you lead us beside quiet waters, you restore our soul.
You guide us in paths of righteousness for your name’s sake.  Even though we may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for you Lord are with us; your rod and your staff, they comfort us.  We thank you Father for all the victories you bring…We thank you for your word of truth that you bind on our hearts so that we may not sin against you.  We ask for your forgiveness for our transgressions and sins.  Strengthen us to love deeply and forgive as you have forgiven us. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.  Let us sow peace, righteousness and love. A poor man’s field may produce abundant food, but injustice sweeps it away.  May mercy and justice follow your daughters all the days of her life.  We will not spare the rod because who ever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.  The righteous eat to their hearts’ content, but the stomach of the wicked goes hungry.  Thank you Father for your daily bread… Thank you for your protection over us and our household.  We will follow the command to love; we will love our neighbor as ourselves.  We will judge justly, love mercy and walk humbly before you.  We thank you for the beauty of your Holiness and the joy of your presence.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
