God’s Word – He who obeys instructions guards his life, but he who is contemptuous of his ways will die. Proverbs 19:16

Proverbs 19

Heavenly Father,
We love you Lord, and we lift our voices to worship you. Your love and your faithfulness are unending.  Your word brings wisdom, and knowledge.  Your gift of salvation through Christ is a gift love.  We thank you for your love and faithfulness.  We thank you for you mercy and grace upon us. Thank you for your word of hope that comforts strengthens and equips us for every good work you call us to.  Father we ask that you would protect us from the evil one.  May our words be few and your words be many.  Your daughters desire to love one another deeply, forgive as you have forgiven us, and repent from our sins quickly.  We declare Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD. Help us to be prudent wives according to your word.  You daughters will not fall into laziness because it brings on deep sleep, and the shiftless person goes hungry.  We will obey instruction, it guards our lives, those who are contemptuous of their ways will die.  He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.  We will be kind to the poor…  We will be obedient to discipline our children, for in that there is hope; your daughters do not want to be a willing party to their death.   A hot-tempered man must pay the penalty; if you rescue him, we will have to do it again. We will watch our ways, and not befriend a hot-tempered man.  Your daughters will listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end we will be wiser for it. We thank you for the gift of salvation through Christ, we thank you for your word of truth that instructs our hearts, mind and gives us strength through the power of the Holy Spirit and Christ in us.  Thank you for your provision in abundance that you pour into our lives, our households and our families. We continually seek your face.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
