God’s Word – A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps. Proverbs 14:18

Prudence not a word we hear often, the definition is the ability to govern and discipline ourselves by the use of reason with the most resourceful tool the word of God the Bible…
Proverbs 18 – A Prudent Woman is thoughtful in all she does….

Heavenly Father,

You are a great God, the great King above all gods. In your hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to you. The sea’s yours, you made, and your  hands formed the dry land. We will bow down in worship, let us kneel before you Lord our Maker; we are the people of your pasture, the flock under your care… Today, if your daughters hear your voice, we will not harden our hearts as our forefathers did during the rebellion.  We will seek your strength and continually seek your face.  We thank you for engraving your word of truth on our hearts.  We thank you for your mercy, your grace and unfailing love.  May we forgive as you have forgiven us for our wickedness and sins.  Your word teaches; the faithless will be fully repaid for their ways, and the good man rewarded for his.  Thank you Father;  for your faithful and loving kindness.     Your daughters will not be like the   simple woman that believes anything,  we will be prudent and give thought to our steps test all things through your word of truth.  Your daughters will be wise a woman  who fears you Lord and shuns evil,  only fool is hotheaded and reckless.  A quick-tempered woman does foolish things, and a crafty woman is hated.  The scripture shows us the simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.  We will wait for you Lord, our soul waits, and in your word we will put our hope so we can be crowned with knowledge.  Thank for our providing us with all our needs in abundance. We ask for your protection over our lives; households and families.  Help us to be your ambassadors of the Gospel message in those divine appointments you place before us.  We thank you for your victories you bring into our lives.  In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
