Proverbs 20

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
We lift our eyes to the hills; our help comes from you, the maker of heaven and earth.  Lord you are awesome in glory and might… Yes, you Lord you are “Mighty” to save.  We thank you for the gift of Christ who took on our shame.  We will watch our ways, and repent quickly, love mercy, walk humbly before you.  We will forgive those whom sin against us.  Your daughters will lead a blameless life…The righteous woman leads a blameless life; blessed are her children after her. When a king sits on his throne to judge, he winnows out all evil with his eyes. We will respect those you have placed in authority.  No one can say, “I have kept my heart pure; I am clean and without sin”? Differing weights and differing measures— you LORD detests them both.   Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right. We will watch over our conduct and display self control as directed by you and your word.  Ears that hear and eyes that see— you LORD have made them both. We will not love sleep or we will grow poor; we will stay awake so we will have food to spare. “It’s no good, it’s no good!” says the buyer; then off he goes and boasts about his purchase.  We will not boast about our purchases.  We thank you Lord for the glory of Christ in our lives.  We will thank you for Christ taking on our sin and our shame.  We thank you Father for your faithful love that endure all things.  Thank you for your grace and mercy; your provision and abundance; your power and might through you glorious presence in our lives in Jesus name we pray…Amen!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
