Proverbs 13
Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
We are in awe of all the works of your hands… Your blessings are too numerous to count.  We love you Father because you first loved us. You created the heavens and earth. You know our coming in and our going out.  Your daughters will commit, delight and trust in you.  We desire the words of our mouth and the meditations of our hearts to be acceptable to you.  You Lord are our rock and redeemer.  We will love one another deeply, and forgive those who sin against us.  Father may your righteousness shine up on us.  Your word states; The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.  We will not hold on to pride because you hate pride and arrogance; Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.  We will seek your wisdom.  We will use honest wieghts and measures because, dishonest money dwindles away, but he who gathers money little by little makes it grow. Your daughters will hold on to the word of hope, hope in you Father never disappoints.  Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Thank you Father,  for fulfilling the longings of each of your daughters.  He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command is rewarded.  Our desire is to follow your instruction and respect your commands… The teaching of the wise is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death.  May we be equipped by your spirit to save a soul from the snares of death… Thank you Father for equipping us for every good work you have called us to.  Thank you for your protection, provision and presence in our lives, our spouses our children and our family.  Thank you for hearing our prayers and answering us when we call. In Christ name we pray…Amen!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford
