Rebuilding a Stronger Life in Christ

God’s Word: Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.” Nehemiah 1:11 NIV

Wisdom Shared:

In the midst of our storms God preserves our lives and upholds us and strengthens us with His righteous right hand.  The truth is we may not understand the reason for the storms in life. The hardship, the complexities behind every action.  In our time of weakness he makes us stronger 2 Corinthians 12:9 … In our time of need he fulfills all our need according to his glorious riches in Christ.Philippians 4:19 And even in our disobedience he makes our paths straight. [Proverbs 3:6]
When trouble and disgrace came upon the Jews   Nehemiah 1-2 … . The wall of Jerusalem were torn  down, and its gates were burned leaving them venerable and afraid.  God was there for them and met every need and every goal to rebuild the walls of the city … Beloved, do not fear, regardless of the circumstance going on in you life …God is with us in our most broken times and he strengthens us, he provides for us in our greatest time need; during every circumstance.  Beloved, You fill in the blank [____] of your most specific need, goal or vision.  Beloved he will answer the need according to His “Glorious Riches” for you in Christ Jesus.  It is just as he did for Nehemiah in Jerusalem.  … Let Nehemiah’s Prayer be your prayer today, and from this day forward.  My prayer for you beloved; …that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, Ephesians 3:6
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,

Nehemiah’s Prayer:
4 When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven. 5 Then I said:

“Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 6 let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you. 7 We have acted very wickedly toward you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses.

8 “Remember the instruction you gave your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations, 9 but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.’

10 “They are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great strength and your mighty hand. 11 Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favor in the presence of this man.”
