God’s Word:Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:12

Encouragement Shared:
God’s merited favor establishes so many riches that are beyond anything that we could ever imagine. In good times he is with us, in hard times he defends and preserves us. It is in times that we sit quietly before him in those moments of stillness that we can hear the voice of the Lord leading – teaching – revealing those truths in the word that not only fill us to overflowing, but more importantly empower us for every good work we are called to in Christ Jesus.

Established and Equipped:
Yes, beloved it is the wisdom of God’s word that fills us to overflowing, so that we may be equipped and established for every good work we are called to in Christ Jesus. In the trials of life there are lessons. In our foolish choices there are consequences.
In either of these circumstance, we need to act justly, love mercifully and walk humbly before our God. Through these integrities’ there are lessons to be learned and victories awaiting us. By his faithfulness he defends us, protects us and shows us His salvation. Praise God that he withholds no good thing from us. [Psalm 84] … Beloved, regardless of the current circumstance your daughters will rest in confidence that you God are continually with us. Pray continually for the revelation , God’s revelations will not prove false.

God’s Word – He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;he who cherishes understanding prospers. Proverbs 19:8
Proverbs 19

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
You are a Mighty and Holy God! We rejoice at the victories you bring. You are Holy and righteous and you withhold no good thing to those who walk up rightly. Thank you for your mercy and forgiveness. That your daughters would be faithful to show mercy and forgiveness as you have shown us… We will repent of our sins with a pure heart of contrition Father. We ask that our walk be blameless before you, and we would not be like a fool whose lips are perverse.
We desire to have both zeal and knowledge, and not be hasty and miss the way. We will be faithful not to display folly because it ruins our life, we do not want our heart to rage against you Lord. Father you state: Wealth brings many friends, but a poor man’s friend deserts him. Your daughters will seek out godly friends and relationships. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours out lies will not go free. May we not shame you by pouring out lies putting us in the bondage of sin. Your words states everyone seeks favor from those in charge: May it be your will to bless and establish the work of our hands so that we will honor you. Father we thank you for your unfailing love that endures all things. Thank you for putting your boundary markers in place. Thank for giving us mercy. May we display an attitude of gratitude for all that you do. Protect us Father in all that we do as we glorify you; In Jesus name we pray… Amen!

Proverbs 19

Better the poor whose walk is blameless
than a fool whose lips are perverse.
2 Desire without knowledge is not good—
how much more will hasty feet miss the way!
3 A person’s own folly leads to their ruin,
yet their heart rages against the Lord.
4 Wealth attracts many friends,
but even the closest friend of the poor person deserts them.
5 A false witness will not go unpunished,
and whoever pours out lies will not go free.
6 Many curry favor with a ruler,
and everyone is the friend of one who gives gifts.
7 The poor are shunned by all their relatives—
how much more do their friends avoid them!
Though the poor pursue them with pleading,
they are nowhere to be found.[a]
8 The one who gets wisdom loves life;
the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.
9 A false witness will not go unpunished,
and whoever pours out lies will perish.
10 It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury—
how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!
11 A person’s wisdom yields patience;
it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.
12 A king’s rage is like the roar of a lion,
but his favor is like dew on the grass.
13 A foolish child is a father’s ruin,
and a quarrelsome wife is like
the constant dripping of a leaky roof.
14 Houses and wealth are inherited from parents,
but a prudent wife is from the Lord.
15 Laziness brings on deep sleep,
and the shiftless go hungry.
16 Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life,
but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die.
17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will reward them for what they have done.
18 Discipline your children, for in that there is hope;
do not be a willing party to their death.
19 A hot-tempered person must pay the penalty;
rescue them, and you will have to do it again.
20 Listen to advice and accept discipline,
and at the end you will be counted among the wise.
21 Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
22 What a person desires is unfailing love[b];
better to be poor than a liar.
23 The fear of the Lord leads to life;
then one rests content, untouched by trouble.
24 A sluggard buries his hand in the dish;
he will not even bring it back to his mouth!
25 Flog a mocker, and the simple will learn prudence;
rebuke the discerning, and they will gain knowledge.
26 Whoever robs their father and drives out their mother
is a child who brings shame and disgrace.
27 Stop listening to instruction, my son,
and you will stray from the words of knowledge.
28 A corrupt witness mocks at justice,
and the mouth of the wicked gulps down evil.
29 Penalties are prepared for mockers,
and beatings for the backs of fools.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
Hebrews 12:1 NLT

Encouragement Shared: Mirriam-Webster’s Definition of Endurance:
1: PERMANENCE, DURATION 2: the ability to withstand hardship or adversity; especially : the ability to sustain a prolonged stressful effort or activity
3: the act or an instance of enduring or suffering

Run the Race to Win:
Running with endurance takes great faith that comes by reading the word, writing the word on the tablet of our heart … memorizing the word. Finally, applying the word to our life in order to win the race God has set before us. There is no secret formula; it takes willingness to grow in God’s wisdom through the word of hope. The witnesses … are the fore-fathers of the faith Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and a host of others in the Old Testament.

Grace in Adversity:

It is in those times of great adversity God’s grace is sufficient to move us to beauty from ashes, to strength from fear, to gladness from mourning and to peace from despair [Isaiah 61]. Beloved it is through God’s word that equips us for every good work we are called to in Christ Jesus. Yes, the word keeps our eyes on the prize to win the race by the grace of God and the word of hope in us.
In my very own life; I have those times of adversity sometimes leaving me completely void of energy, enthusiasms, at times hopelessness … then God shows me at just the perfect time the exact scripture to strengthen me, enabling me to stand strong in Christ.
It is the word that enables us to stand on the faith, to create in us to be bold in heart. To stand firm on those promises causing the adversary to flee. [Recommended Reading 138]
The Psalmist write; Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil. Psalm 119:133 God will ordain our steps; he will never leave us or forsake us. So we say with confidence the Lord Is my helper, what can man do to me?[Hebrews 13] So go quickly open your word the Bible and seek the word of hope waiting for you.
