God’s Word: …let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1John 4:7

Encouragement Shared; let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 1John 4:7, this verse brings
a new reality and definition of Christian love. If we do not love one another then we are not born of God. This also includes loving difficult people, those whom we
perceive are un-loveable. Truthfully we cannot love if we do not have the love of God in us. This is how we know love is complete within us, if we hate our neighbor
then where is God’s love within us? If we hate then we know that we are not rooted in love. Be careful beloved, it is written in the word of God. We must love one
another … it through God’s love we can love one another, it is through God’s love we are made complete in love. We love because he first loved us.

Heavenly Father,
Help us to seek you in excellence through your love for us.
As we read the scriptures and meditate and write the word
on the tablet of our hearts. Teach us how to love others
in Christ’s love and not our love that sets limitations.
Let us love our neighbor as our self.
Thank you, Father for your faithful love through Christ may
it set us free. In Jesus name, Amen!

Mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance

God’s Love and Ours

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.

God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 17 This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

19 We love because he first loved us. 20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

God’s Word:
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. 1 Corinthians 16:13

Encouragement Shared:
Our Faith is determined by the way we react in times of trouble. It becomes so easy to allow emotions to take control creating a platform to distort the voice of the Lord speaking to us through the power of his word. We fall into that depression that keeps our eyes and focus on self instead of the cross. Yes God the Father created us as emotional beings, but emotions out of control cause commotion in our lives. Not that we are unaware, but we sometimes fall into that temptation of isolation that keeps us from receiving God’s Glory and feeling defeated in our circumstance. God is the strength of our heart dear sisters in Christ; My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my [your] heart. Psalm 73:26 James 1 reminds us to consider our trials as joy, maturing to completion- [James 1:2;3;4]
[ Paul states the same; Romans 5:1-5] God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? ”Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrew 13:5-8

Heavenly Father,
May our whole spirit and minds be strengthen as we grow during our trials.
Father we ask you to reveal the lessons you desire for us to learn for the
character building you are forming in and through us.
Thank your Father for all you do for us… In Jesus name I pray-AMEN!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance

God’s Word: In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait expectantly Psalm 5:3

Encouragement Shared:
In the quiet of the morning, I usually like to enjoy doing my bible reading and devotion with hymns playing in the background.
It’s pretty nice because the music is scriptural and it washes over the issues that are burdening me at the time.
In the midst of day to day, the business can sometimes be a distraction along with life’s challenges. The business along with the challenges
can distort the voice of the Lord and keep us stagnant.

I suffer with physical pain because of my auto immune illness; scleroderma. When things get stressful, when I don’t take the time to slow down
and spend that quality time in the communion with God the Father my mind set, my spirit and those around me suffer.
That is a distraction, that can hinder and bound me from the call on my life. It also reinforces failure and defeat.
The washing of the word set us free beloved… it also sets the tone of the day! The desire need to be salt and light onto the world.
God does not want us to react in emotional distress, God does not want us to react in retaliation… God desires us to
call out to him and wait expectantly in Him. Yes, Beloved cast your cares on Him because he cares for you!
No good thing will he withhold from those whose walk is righteous.
You are righteous Beloved … through the power and glory of Christ in you.
Show us your ways, Lord, teach us your paths. Guide us in your truth and teach us,
for you are God our Savior, and our hope is in you all day long.

Heavenly Father,
In the morning we will put our request before you in the quiet time.
We will wait in expectant hope. We give thanks for your victories …
we give thanks for your promise that brings us from glory to glory and strength to strength.
Teach us your wisdom through your truth, help to follow your lead
and not be led astray from the challenges or disappointment of life.
In stead teach us to number our days through faith so that we may
gain a heart of wisdom. Let us face the day empowered by
your truths, so that we can experience the glory of your presence.
Thank you Father for the answer to our prayers.
In Jesus name -Amen!
