God’s Word: The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. Psalm 103:6

Encouragement Shared: Oppression is a state of being held down, pressed down and bound by the stresses and worries of life. The Lord states do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow has worries of its own. Matthew 6:34 …
It is through confessions of sins we receive forgiveness- this is true freedom from the bondage and oppression of anger resentment, without forgiveness we become hardened. His forgiveness leads us to the redeeming grace through love – through Christ interceding for us. This is the restoration …the restorative process is the beginning of the healing God so graciously has for us. It is through God the Father’s love that he redeems our life from the pit of despair… and restores us with good things, so that we our youth is renewed like the eagle.

We Lack No Good Thing:
The word reiterates we lack no good thing. [Psalm 84] As I wake today and as I read and ponder Psalm 103 I am reminded in my difficult times that God is with me. We must continually give thanks in all seasons of life. We must not forget all the victories – he has brought us to. He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases renewing us. We must also remember that he doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve. Thank you Father, you are a great and awesome God! Your name is majestic … we will sing praises to your Holy name.
My Prayer – mercy and peace be with you all the days of your life … look to the Lord and his word, remember all the difficulties he has delivered you from.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,

Psalm 103
1 Praise the LORD, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pitM
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.

God’s Word on Prayer: …pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

Encouragement Share:
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2 My encouragement today comes through the word of truth; Prayer is a matter of sacrifice. Prayer is an intimate and private conversing with God through Christ. Beloved, it is through prayer we can act on faith believing that power of God is at work in and through us. In my very own quiet time I become inspired through the word of God to lift up prayers to “Our Father in Heaven”. It is through the inspired word of truth is when we are prepared for the day and events ahead. If we are paying attention, we can recognize that God continually prepares for each and every one of life’s events… Life has its hardship, yes beloved regardless of what the circumstance is we have the greatest weapon the sword of God which is the word-the Bible and the power of prayer.

God’s Word on Love: Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. Romans 13:8

Encouragement Shared:
How often I find that we forget the godly attributes of love, for that reason it tends to limit our love to one another by setting up limitations. God has put no limitations on His love for us. That is why we must remember his word on love. Love is not feeling but a command of God that only comes from loving God, and spending time in His Word getting to know his character through memorizing, reading, meditating, application and prayer. When I think of love I think of the sacrifices that it requires. It requires sincere faith, commitment, trust and devotion to God through Christ. All we need to do is look to cross and remember the sacrifice made for us through Christ. He was born to die for us… He took on the punishment of our transgressions and sins to give us eternal life; freedom from those things that keep us ensnared to the fears that imprisons us that keeps us from loving.

Love is Not:
Love is not weapon we use to get our way … regardless of the circumstance; marriage, childrearing, family members, and friends [these are your neighbors]. We cannot use love as weapon to gain what ever it is we want. There are consequences for that and beloved it is a high cost for us. The only outstanding debt is the attribute of love: Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Romans 13:8-9 … These are words as written to empower us to love one another through the power of Christ and the awesome word spoken to our heart, mind and spirit.

Verses to Memorize:

• John 15:10 – If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.

• John 15:12 – My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

• John 15:13 – Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

• John 15:17 This is my command: Love each other
