God’s Word: The Lord is good. His love is forever Psalm 100:5 NCV

Encouragement Shared:
Here is a challenge; Today, and each day give thanks to the Lord because his faithful love endures forever!
I am excited to share this Psalm only because God has shown me his faithful love in all circumstances. Life may not happen as I desire it to go, or His timing is not in tune with my timing. The truth is God is faithful in love … yes beloved He is faithful in all he does. May the peace of God guard your hearts, mind and spirit as you sing praise to His name.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,

Psalm 100 Give Thanks!

Shout to the Lord, all the earth.
Serve the Lord with joy;
come before him with singing.
Know that the Lord is God.
He made us, and we belong to him;
we are his people, the sheep he tends.
Come into his city with songs of thanksgiving
and into his courtyards with songs of praise.
Thank him and praise his name.
The Lord is good. His love is forever,
and his loyalty goes on and on.

God’s Word: This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us. 4:17-19

Encouragement Shared: Stand firm in Him because God’s word states; there is no fear in love, God’s perfect love expels fear. Yes beloved, be fearless through God’s perfect love, because the Bible states God is love. We love because he first loved us. He loved us before we were formed in the wound. In the hardships that are life we have the power of Christ in us to stand firm on the word spoken to us. It is through every word of Christ that we are made clean. [John 15] … It is the by the equipping of the word that we are empowered for every life circumstance to be bold in His strength.

God states in Psalm 138 ~
For God’s loving-kindness and His truth; God the Father has magnified His word above all His name. In the day when we cried out, God answered us,
And made us bold with strength in our soul.

Yes, beloved, God’s strength is sufficient in our weakness to carry us through the trials of life. There are lessons to be learned. Victories to share to encouragements through perseverance. Our victories encourage the timid , help the weak, and help us to be patient in all circumstance with everyone. It is the glory of God in us that we can achieve these attributes that lead us glory to glory and strength to strength.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,

God’s Word: …rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. Colossians 2:7

Encouragement Shared: Being rooted in Christ, there is truly so much to be thankful for. The thing that I am most thankful for is the word of Christ that fills us to overflowing. It is the wisdoms of God’s word that fills us with the knowledge and understanding to learn-live-thrive spiritually through the power of the Holy Spirit in us. We can not allow the world we live in influence our goal of the faith. Let us instead keep our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. …remaining joyful, prayerful, giving thanks in all circumstance.

Commitment to Christ:
Yes, beloved, it requires commitment, trust and delighting in Him, he will give the truest desires of our life. – [Psalm 37] There is a constant presence of Christ through the almighty God we serve. Making the investment to be in relationship, and live in obedience to him. Seeking Him through the scriptures, drawing closer by writing the word of God on the tablet of our heart, mind and spirit. … Living the truths of the word: I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:11

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. Colossians 2:6-8

Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We are thankful for the gift of Christ…Thank you for the empowerment to seek you; being rooted in and through Christ.
Let us not be deceived through empty or hollow philosophies that takes us captive and derails us from the goal of the faith.
We will seek to keep our focus on you… because our help is in you. May we always be overflowing in thankfulness for all you
do. In Jesus name…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,
Jennifer Pettiford
