God’s Word – These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deuteronomy 6:6-7

The Spiritual Legacy of Christ Inheritance … It begins and ends with each parent.

Encouragement Shared: I love the fall, … it becomes about new beginnings; A new school year, new clothes, back packs and a crisp bouquet of sharp crisp pencils. It’s soccer time, bake sales and book clubs. Its a new year for our children new challenges; new lessons to be learned a time for learning – growing – exploring. As a family it becomes about love, devotion and bonding. Studying God’s word and spending family time in devotions will foster that relationship with God the Father. We are not born saved, we need to train up our children in the ways of godly wisdom. The Psalmist prayer; teach us to number our days so we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

God’s Love – Now about brotherly love we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other. and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. 1 Thessalonians 4:9; 2 Peter 1:7 NIV

Encouragement Shared: Hello Saints, Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Romans 12:10 NIV-
Urgent Need for Prayer and Support; … I have never done this on my blog before… but, today when I opened my email, there was a prayer request for two very special people that ministered to me and my family during my son’s crisis in 2004 – I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to share this prayer request for Pastor Greg Howard and His wife Ashleigh Howard from my home church Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Ashleigh is a picture of Fearless Faith in action. The doors shut here in United States for her to receive treatment for her colon cancer. This brave woman of God has the opportunity to receive treatment in Mexico and after much prayer and wonderful saints in the body sending love offerings for medical expenses. She is half way to her goal. Ashleigh is taking the trip to Tijuana, Mexico for treatment on Saturday, the 26th and her first treatment will be Tuesday the 29th. She will be returning home on November 16th…

Beloved saints, please lift this faithful servant of God in prayer as she moves fearlessly in faith for her treatment. I thank you in advance for the prayers offered to both Ashleigh and Pastor Greg Howard.

These are her Prayer needs as shared by a sister in Christ:

Ashleigh’s prayer requests for the next 3 weeks…

• *Prayer for Facility – Please pray for the facility and the 24 other people that will be undergoing treatment at the same time as she is. Oasis of Hope is in Tijuana Mexico, and it is not a Christian facility, so this is a huge ministry opportunity. They do start with Chapel and devotions every morning at 8:00 a.m. so she is very excited about that. We teased her last night that those 24 others will be memorizing scripture and doing boot camp if she has anything to say about it!! Pray for her to be inspired as much as the Lord may use her to inspire others.

• *Hospital will be noisy and intrusive – please pray that she will receive some rest and be able to sleep, as that is an intrical part of her getting better.

• *Pray that her tumors shrink only – any enlargement of the tumors and the blocking of the colon can be very dangerous.

• *Pray for Pastor Greg – He will be taking Ashleigh to Mexico and picking her up, but the majority of the 3 weeks they will both be on their own. Pray for his strength and faith as he watches God work from many miles away. He has been a soldier in her battle, pray that the Lord speaks to him and gives him rest and rejuvenation during this time.

• *Above All – God is in control of Ashleigh’s life. All the glory goes from her mouth to His ears. She clings to the promise that He never leaves us or forsakes us, and she cannot wait to tell of all her adventures when she arrives home on November 16th.

The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16~
Thank you beloved saints, for your faithfulness, in your acts of love and devotion through Christ…Please forward today’s post to anyone the Lord may lie on your heart…

God’s Word: Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. Proverbs 9:10

Encouragement Shared: The foundation of wisdom is about faith…In the quest to encourage others through the word of God there are those occasions that I find myself the saying the same words over and over. It causes me to think about how patient our God is with us. We go around the mountain again, and again. His love is there for us … His mercy fails not, they are new each morning; great is His “faithfulness”.

There are those rare times when I listen to a sister lament about life issues… And for me it is so basic it’s about faith. How big is our faith? There are the occasions that all I can do listen, and then there are the times when all I can do to help is to pray while they vent. We can share love, we can give mercy and grace… We can encourage through the word, but we cannot get too involved that causes us to fall into the pit of despair. We want to offer a hand to help to lift out of the pit. That’s why the scriptures say encourage one another daily, because of the deceitfulness of sin. Remaining in the pit of disparity is not good place to be. It is through the difficulties that are life that our faith is apparent.

Our difficulties are not a surprise to God the Father – We have a great high priest, who has gone into heaven, and he is Jesus the Son of God. That is why we must hold on to what we have said about him. Jesus understands every weakness of ours, because he was tempted in every way that we are. But he did not sin! So whenever we are in need, we should come bravely before the throne of our merciful God. There we will be treated with undeserved kindness, and we will find help. Hebrews 4:14-16
I will continue to be in prayer for the good fight for the faith…
Love in Christ,

Mark 4 Parable of the Farmer Scattering Seed
3 “Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seed. 4 As he scattered it across his field, some of the seed fell on a footpath, and the birds came and ate it. 5 Other seed fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seed sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow. 6 But the plant soon wilted under the hot sun, and since it didn’t have deep roots, it died. 7 Other seed fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants so they produced no grain. 8 Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they sprouted, grew, and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!” 9 Then he said, “Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”
10 Later, when Jesus was alone with the twelve disciples and with the others who were gathered around, they asked him what the parables meant.
11 He replied, “You are permitted to understand the secret[a] of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders, 12 so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:
‘When they see what I do,
they will learn nothing.
When they hear what I say,
they will not understand.
Otherwise, they will turn to me
and be forgiven.’[b]”
13 Then Jesus said to them, “If you can’t understand the meaning of this parable, how will you understand all the other parables? 14 The farmer plants seed by taking God’s word to others. 15 The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message, only to have Satan come at once and take it away. 16 The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. 17 But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word. 18 The seed that fell among the thorns represents others who hear God’s word, 19 but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced. 20 And the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”
