God’s Word – Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. 1 Peter 1:22

Encouragement Shared:
The Bible is a love letter, a manual for successful living. It is through the word that we are equipped for every good work in Christ we are called to. So often I hear that life gets in the way of our daily living not allowing for time to meditate on the word of hope the Bible. It is an excellent way to step into the day. In my own life it sets the tone for my day in the most positive ways. There are days that it encourages me and days that it prepares me for the event that occurs during the course of the day. The best is when I could use the word of God to encourage someone else. We give God the glory for all that he has said through the living word that is the living hope for our daily lives in Christ. It gives us the lessons of hardship, it shows us how necessary the attribute of patient and kindness through Christ’s love is. To Love others is not something we can do in our own strength … it is through the glory of God that we love one another deeply from a pure heart.

Heavenly Father, give us your peace, and sanctify us through and through. May our whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that you who call us are faithful and you will do it. We will be faithful to pray for the saints in the body undergoing the same daily battles for the good fight for the faith. We thank you Lord for the victories you bring your daughters those who seek you diligently. In Jesus name …AMEN!

God’s Word: …faith, hope and love; but the greatest of these is love…1Corinthians 13:13

Encouragement Shared: The greatest gift is love in order to grow in faith and receive the blessing of this awesome love we need to understand God’s attributes of love. The definition of love by our standard of understanding is usually based on emotions. When emotions lead us it does not provide a good foundation of self-control in our lives. An emotion always leads us to commotion and adds strife to our life.

The true test becomes do we believe all that the Lord has said. In order to receive this love we must be willing to commit; delight and trust in the Lord your God through Christ. We cannot be angry or bitter and holding on to those bitter roots that create in us rotten fruit; the fruit of rage, malice that leads to the root of un-forgiveness. The root of un-forgiveness is “Pride” that hides…it disguises it’s self as the chameleon self-righteousness. We need to remove the focus off self, and “NOT” allow our emotions to dictate our decisions that cause us to “feel like the victim. These entire things make us incomplete and unproductive for the Kingdom of God.

Repentance Leads to God’s Faithfulness
Take ownership and responsibility of our action good or bad, we need to confess, repent and God is faithful and just to cleanse and purify us of all un-righteousness. In order to be free of those chains that keep us imprisoned spiritually, emotionally, physically we must be willing to seek the Lord and for his strength continually… More importantly: We must be willing and obedient.

When hard times come we must search our hearts along with the scriptures to ask ourselves:
• Is it a trial or is it a consequence of sin due to a bad decision?
• When the truth is revealed are we truly repentant?
• Do we find ourselves repentant over the same issues consistently?
• Are we willing to submit-commit-trust in God to help to grow in grace?
Verse to Memorize –If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

What Love is vs. What Love is Not
• Love is patient and kind.
• Love is not jealous or
• Love is not boastful
• Love is not prideful
• Love is not rude
• Love is not demanding Love is not
• Love is not irritable
• Love is not record keeping of being wronged
• Love is not rejoicing about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

God’s Word – The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride. A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. Ecclesiastes 7:8

The Encouragement Shared –
The greatest love of a friend –Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. [John 15:13] We all have those special relationships that bring joy to our life. That friend you can trust with your most intimate thoughts with… We all have those special relationships we value. There is a season and a time that we will be disappointed, hurt or betrayed by a friend. Jesus states: My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this that he lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:12-14 – Yes, he laid down His life for us. Yes, Jesus was disappointed, hurt and betrayed by many, the same many He came to die for.

Love is Needed: Why is it so hard to love one another deeply? In the body of Christ I have seen a friend that sticks closer than a brother. I have also seen friendships dissolved by anger, resentment, bitterness and envy. That kind of strife destroys lives. The truth is there is a way that seems right but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12

Where is The Love? Love a command of God. Jesus says; If you love me you will follow my commands. [John 14:15] I submit there is a reason that this command is difficult and if we closely examine it the truth is; it is the pride of our heart that deceives us. [Obadiah 1:3] Here is the command – Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 In my most recent battle and at the on set of my diagnosis 13 years ago of my illness, the relationships of some friendships changed entirely. It has saddened me, because I have nothing but love, respect with a high regard for their place in my life and who they are. Although the relationships have changed, I continue to pray for spiritual wellness, healing from brokenness, and strength in distress. It brought me grief, it brought me to tears, but more importantly it brought me to my knees. The truth is God is at work in all of us…I have seen the acts of pride divide. Sin comes into all our lives, and to forgive is divine… It is God’s divine grace that allows us to forgive and grow in faith. Although relationships change, God never changes.

Faithful Love: God’s love shined bright through others in the body. Due to illness I was weak and tired unable to attend church; go to work; shop; or chores. One sister gifted with mercy, grace and prayer that brought prayer warriors to anoint me with oil to pray. That very same sister helped with provision and assisted my daughter. Then another sister and her family cooked and brought meals also blessing my daughter and me with provision. Another sister helped with a medical bill and cooked dinner for us. It is our faith in action that shows our love…It is by our love we are recognized in Christ. These beautiful ladies took the time out of their busy lives to give helping hands when it was needed. Being single and living with a teen that works in retail part-time, attends college full time and helps out more than most are willing at her age. I thank God for her… And I thank my God to the loving ladies that made the sacrificial act to love. I send my love and appreciation to all who were faithful to pray… faithful to act in love and were the hands of Christ in the midst of my storm. The blessing of the Lord be with you [all]. Psalm 129:8
