God’s Word – The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.

Encouragement Shared: As we are coming on the end of the year and the beginning of a new year, we need to reflect and give thanks
for all the goodness along with the blessings of God. It is an abudance of blessings… the deliverance of from one difficulty to victory.
Just watch, pray and praise… you will see the Mighty God at work for you. If God is for us who can be against us. Put your trust in God and
praise Him through all circumstances.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford

Psalm 65

1 Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion;
to you our vows will be fulfilled.
2 You who answer prayer,
to you all people will come.
3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,
you forgave[c] our transgressions.
4 Blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,
of your holy temple.

5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,
God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
and of the farthest seas,
6 who formed the mountains by your power,
having armed yourself with strength,
7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.
8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy.

9 You care for the land and water it;
you enrich it abundantly.
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain,
for so you have ordained it.[d]
10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers and bless its crops.
11 You crown the year with your bounty,
and your carts overflow with abundance.
12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;
the hills are clothed with gladness.
13 The meadows are covered with flocks
and the valleys are mantled with grain;
they shout for joy and sing.

Love Is Indispensable

God’s Word – And yet I will show you the most excellent way. 1 Corinthians 12:31

Encouragement Shared:
Love is the most excellenty way… Love is a decision… a command of God. Love is not a feeling that is fleeting, it is an active action.
As you go through your day today, put on love. Choose to love and respect one another love does no harm.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
Jennifer Pettiford

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV)

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

God’s Word – Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me.

Encouragment Shared: In the midst of our troubles the Lord is faithful to perserve us. [Psalm 138] In the midst of the storms he is there. In the midst of our trails he is there. In the midst of our joys and our sorrows he is there. So when life seem hopeless beloved pray continually. When relationships have gone astray, remember love never fails. The proof is the cross. Yes, God’s love never fails beloved, he will never leave us or forsake us…so live in the confidence, the Lord is our helper. What can man do to us? [Hebrews 13] In his strength we can move forward in love, through the power of Christ in us.

Forgiveness and Love:
If we are not forgiving and loving toward one another then the truth is we are not relying on the power of Christ in us. Its just about us, our need to work on our own strength. Even more serious, its about the will of our need to be in control that takes hold and allows us not to submit those heart issues that we need to relinquish on God’s throne of grace.
Let it go-Let God do the work in others. Just keep looking up because our help is in the LORD. Not in our own power or need to supercede those truths that have set us free. That’s the power of LOVE… Love never fails!

The Command Love one another as I have loved you.
