Gods Word – Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 118.1

Psalm 118
1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
2 Let Israel say:
“His love endures forever.”
3 Let the house of Aaron say:
“His love endures forever.”
4 Let those who fear the LORD say:
“His love endures forever.”

5 When hard pressed, I cried to the LORD;
he brought me into a spacious place.
6 The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?
7 The LORD is with me; he is my helper.
I look in triumph on my enemies.

8 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in humans.
9 It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to trust in princes.
10 All the nations surrounded me,
but in the name of the LORD I cut them down.
11 They surrounded me on every side,
but in the name of the LORD I cut them down.
12 They swarmed around me like bees,
but they were consumed as quickly as burning thorns;
in the name of the LORD I cut them down.
13 I was pushed back and about to fall,
but the LORD helped me.
14 The LORD is my strength and my defense[a];
he has become my salvation.

15 Shouts of joy and victory
resound in the tents of the righteous:
“The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!
16 The LORD’s right hand is lifted high;
the LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!”
17 I will not die but live,
and will proclaim what the LORD has done.
18 The LORD has chastened me severely,
but he has not given me over to death.
19 Open for me the gates of the righteous;
I will enter and give thanks to the LORD.
20 This is the gate of the LORD
through which the righteous may enter.
21 I will give you thanks, for you answered me;
you have become my salvation.

22 The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
23 the LORD has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 The LORD has done it this very day;
let us rejoice today and be glad.

25 LORD, save us!
LORD, grant us success!

26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD.
From the house of the LORD we bless you.[b]
27 The LORD is God,
and he has made his light shine on us.
With boughs in hand, join in the festal procession
up[c] to the horns of the altar.

28 You are my God, and I will praise you;
you are my God, and I will exalt you.

29 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his love endures forever

God’s Promise
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29

Encouragement Shared:
As we grow older life seems to be more complicated regardless at what stage of life you are at Teen, Young Adulthood, or hitting your peak.  Just know that the glory of God lives within you.  Remember sisters you are fearful and wonderfully made!  … Regardless  of age, weight or status of life.  “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. [Matthew 5:15] … Keep shining on Sisters…” ‘

“The LORD bless you
       and keep you;
  the LORD make his face shine upon you
       and be gracious to you;
  the LORD turn his face toward you
       and give you peace.” ‘ Numbers 6:24-26

Prayer: Psalm 139
  O LORD, you have searched Your daughter’s
       and you know her.
  You know when she sits and when she rises;
       you perceive her thoughts from afar.
  You discern Your daughter’s going out and her lying down;
       you are familiar with all her ways.
  Before a word is on Your daughter’s’s tongue
       you know it completely, O LORD.
  You hem Your daughter’s in—behind and before;
       you have laid your hand upon her.
 Such knowledge is too wonderful for her,
       too lofty for her to attain.
 Where can Your daughter’s   go from your Spirit?
       Where can she flee from your presence?
  If  Your daughter’s  goes up to the heavens, you are there;
       if she make her bed in the depths, [a] you are there.
  If Your daughter’s rises on the wings of the dawn,
       if she  settles on the far side of the sea,
  even there your hand will guide her,
       your right hand will hold Your daughter’s  fast.
  She will say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
       and the light become night around me,”
 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
       the night will shine like the day,
       for darkness is as light to you.
 For you created her inmost being;
       you knit Your daughter’s together in her mother’s womb.
  Your daughter’s will praise you because she is fearfully and wonderfully made;
       your works are wonderful,
       May she  know that full well.
1Your daughter’s frame was not hidden from you
       when she was made in the secret place.
       When she was woven together in the depths of the earth,
 your eyes saw her unformed body.
       All the days ordained for Your daughter’s
       were written in your book
       before one of them came to be.
 How precious to [b]   Your daughter’s  are your thoughts, O God!
       How vast is the sum of them!
 Were she to count them,
       they would outnumber the grains of sand.
       When Your daughter’s   awakes,
       she is still with you.
  If only you would slay the wicked, O God!
       Away from me, you bloodthirsty men!
  They speak of you with evil intent;
       your adversaries misuse your name.
  Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD,
       and abhor those who rise up against you?
 I have nothing but hatred for them;
       I count them my enemies.
 Search Your daughter’s, O God, and know her heart;
       test me and know her anxious thoughts.
 See if there is any offensive way in Your daughter’s,
       and lead me in the way everlasting.

God’s Word – The LORD is my light and my salvation— Psalm 27:1

Encouragement Shared: Singing songs of praise is a good weapon to stand up against the ememy.
When I was on my way home from work this evening from a tough day I sang Psalm 27 … The Lord
is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear? More importantly the Lord is the stronghold – whom shall I be afraid…
We are encourage to fear not we have been redeemed; Fear not, for I have redeemed you; Yes beloved we have been summoned by name; we belong to the Lord. When we go through the waters, the Lord is with us; When we pass through the
rivers they will not pass over us…When we go through the fire we will not be burned nor will the flames set us ablaze.
The Lord is the stronghold and savior of our life. [Isaiah 43]
As you go through any hardship, challenge or obstacles along the way during your
day… Just trust and know the Lord our God, he is the stronghold and light of our life.
Beloved, take heart and wait on the Lord he is our light and salvation. We have nothing to fear!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,

Psalm 27

1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When evil men advance against me
to devour my flesh,
when my enemies and my foes attack me,
they will stumble and fall.
3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then will I be confident.

4 One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock.
6 Then my head will be exalted
above the enemies who surround me;
at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the LORD.

7 Hear my voice when I call, O LORD;
be merciful to me and answer me.
8 My heart says of you, “Seek his[b] face!”
Your face, LORD, I will seek.
9 Do not hide your face from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me,
O God my Savior.
10 Though my father and mother forsake me,
the LORD will receive me.
11 Teach me your way, O LORD;
lead me in a straight path
because of my oppressors.
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses rise up against me,
breathing out violence.

13 I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living.
14 Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD.
