God’s Word – “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”- 2 Peter 3:9

Encouragement Shared: The Lord gives peace to his people, the Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:11 Seek for the Lord and seek for his face continually. The Promises of God are faithful and true. God has provide for us the word to truth filling us with the … faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and at his appointed season he brought his word to light… [Titus 1:2-3] That is the TRUTH of his infallible word. It heals and helps – It turns our weakness to strength in HIM. We need to qualify the reasons for our sickness sometime it just consequence to choices we make not empowered by Power of the Living God: [Hebrews Chapters 10;12] The writer of Hebrews exhorts us to: … Therefore, strengthen our feeble arms and weak knees. “Make level paths for our feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed. [Hebrews 12:12-13] Jeremiah the Prophet states with repentance comes the opportunity to speak worthy and not worthless words. You have been called to speak worthy not worthless words.

Jeremiah 15:19-20
Therefore this is what the LORD says:
“If you repent, I will restore you
that you may serve me;
if you utter worthy, not worthless, words,
you will be my spokesman.
Let this people turn to you,
but you must not turn to them.
I will make you a wall to this people,
a fortified wall of bronze;
they will fight against you
but will not overcome you,
for I am with you
to rescue and save you,”
declares the LORD.

Worthy Words:
Beloved we have been called to speak worthy words…
Embrace the word of God write it on the tablet of your heart…
Let it richly dwell within you, and fill you to over flowing.
Jesus says you clean because of the word of God spoken to you. [John 15]

God’s Promise
Every word of God is pure; he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. — Proverbs 30:5 KJV~

Wisdom & Encouragement Shared:
The bible states that every word of God is pure…
So I ask why is so hard to put our trust in HIM?
Why the struggle? — Why do we resort to our emotions?
Anxiety, anger, bitterness, fear, pride, un-forgiveness, and worrying — these all lead to emotional commotions they are
strongholds that keep us paralyzed. It robs us of receiving the joy that completes us through God’s loving grace.
We need to hold on to our anchor of “Hope” Christ Jesus! We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19aNIV
We also need to look intently to the word of God as a mirror to our souls…Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:22-24 NIV
Jesus stated-”I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. John 5:24

What an encouragement life over death-He sent forth his word and healed them; Psalm 107:20

Personal Challenge: My Enouragement for you today is put in action looking intently at the word of God. Lay down those emotions at the foot of the cross that you have been finding your self wrestling with.
Start by reading the Proverbs, there are 31 Proverbs one for each day. Take the personal challenge I guarantee you will receive — blessings of wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
President Theodore Roosevelt quoted, “‘A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education.”
Taste and see the goodness of God’s healing power of the word — … the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12 NIV (Please send praise reports you do not need to share specifics)

King Solomon writes; Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Proverbs 30:5-KJV
These are the proverbs of King Solomon of Israel, David’s son: He wrote them to teach his people how to live-how to act in every circumstance, for he wanted them to be understanding, just and fair in everything they did. I want to make the simple-minded wise! he said, ” I want to warn young men about some problems they will face. I want the already wise to become wiser and become leaders by exploring the depths of meaning these nuggets of truth.” How does one become wise? The first step is to trust and reverence the Lord. Proverbs 1:1-9TLB ( The Living Bible)

The Promises of God

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. —1 John 1:9
Reconcile-For if when, we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through death of his Son, Romans 5:10
Repent- If you repent, I will restore you. Jeremiah 15:19
Revive- Reviving the soul. Psalm 19:7
Renew- Renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
Relationship-God’s love is truly made complete 1 John 4:5
Rejoice- Come let us rejoice in him. Psalm 66:6

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank you for you mercy, your truth and your loving grace you pour out on us.
Thank you for faithfulness to love us unconditionally-Thank you for the gift of Christ in our lives-
I lift up to you Father-each person reading this devotion your precious children, that each saint lives in unity and love may live a life worthy of You Father and may please YOU in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God their Heavenly Father, being strengthened and rooted with all power according to YOUR glorious might so that each one may have great endurance and patience with all grace through the tender mercies You Father have shown them individually also be toward one another, and joyfully giving thanks to you Father, who has qualified all who believe to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For you Lord have rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son you love, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Thank you Father for the answer to this prayer and each prayer placed on your throne of Grace on behalf to all your children. Bless those saints for their obedience to stand in the gap in intercessory prayer Father. Bring your people to a peace that surpasses all understanding…That no weapon forge against them would prevail, protect them, guide their hearts, mind and spirit in word, action and deed. Thank for the tender victories you have waiting for them. In Jesus Name I pray…AMEN

God’s Promise Love is patient-Love is kind 1 Corinthians 13:4

Encouragement Shared:

I woke up with this thought on my mind…LOVE…
Do you know that Beatles Song? ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, LOVE. LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED…
Paul writes in his letter to the Corinth Church; Three things remain, faith, hope and love but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

Love is patient, Love is kind:
I woke up one morning this week, I did what I do every morning turn on my radio and prepare for the day.
When I turned on the radio they were doing morning devotional and prayer.
The hostess of the AM radio show read a devotion about Love as describe by Paul in 1Corinthians 13.
That with out love it makes no sense. Regardless of what you see going on in a persons life and what their doing wrong.
If we have decided to correct them or I prefer to encourage them, with out love it means nothing.
In this journey of life in Christ the lesson most learned in my life is we must do all things in LOVE…
Our perceptions can be skewed; we precieve that we are are helping by point to someones wrongs in their life; their journey to discovery.
The truth is before we feel compelled to open our mouth to speak ask your self; Is it edifying? Is it encouraging? Is it helpful? More importantly
did you pray about it? There are times that God reveals things to us not so that we can say it but pray over it. God is able to do more than we
could ever ask thing or imagine. So if you trust in God, then trust that the same God that is at work in you is also at work in others.
In other words if we are not loving that person we need to get on our knees first before making and remarks comments or suggestions.
That is why I Jennifer always refer to the word of God. I know that I must watch this for myself, because regardless of how eloquent my words are if they are not done or said in love it is futile. Speaking the truth without love can and will destroy relationships; create hurts and discourage instead of encourage. So my beloved be prayerful about what and how you say it, especially if your counsel was not asked for. I know for certain I have been in both positions; the one most important lesson is to pray continually.

Acronym for LOVE

Living- As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.Ephesians 4:1
Obediently-If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land; Isaiah 1:19
Victoriously-”For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you … to give you victory.” Deuteronomy 20:4
Eternally-Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.Psalm 93:2

If we practice these things in our very own lives we will not only experience God’s unfailing love we will live out a life in love. < We will be living out a fruitful life by HIS divine design in LOVE ... the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 Notice that the first fruit mentioned is LOVE!

At the end of the day all that matters is LOVE; God is Love-We love because he first loved us- 1 John 4
Here is something to ponder-

Are we a loving people?
Are we living the biblical definition of love personally? ( as written in the love Chapter in 1 Corinthians 13)
So before we open up our mouths to extend a word of wisdom ask your self-
Do I Love this individual in the way God The Father; commands us to love?
Am I encouraging or discouraging?
Is it just pride; opinion; or knowledge speaking?
We know that we all possess knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. 1 Corinthians 8:1
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
