God’s Word – Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Exodus 20

Encouragement Shared: Trick or Treat is a Trick of defeat in allowing the lie that to celebrate Halloween is harmless. The bible makes it clear what we are to do and we are to live as children of the light. [Ephesians 5] My time with the Lord I have been in the book of Ephesians.  This book was not written to correct error or discourage false teachings.  Paul wrote this book as a resource for living according to God’s Purpose.  So I pose a question;  How does Christianity and Halloween flow together?  It doesn’t.  Yet there are so many in the body of Christ who view the celebration of it as harmless.  However, it’s very serious… It opens the door for all kinds of evil. more…

God’s Word – For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Psalm 37:28

Encouragement Shared: Yes, beloved as we are coming to a close with our time in praying for our husbands, let this be a beginning of a new season of our prayer lives. Let us not give up or become weary in doing good, for in the proper time we will reap a harvest of righteousness in doing so. [Galatians 6:9] God the Father is faithful in all he does, all he says and in every circumstance in every season of life. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. Yes, we are to thank and praise HIM, God of our anscestors: He has given us wisdom and power, God the Father has made known to us what we asked of HIM, yes, God has made known to us the dream of the king. [Daniel 2:22-23]

Prayer for Our Husbands Psalm 37:37;39-40
Heavenly Father,
37 My husband will consider the blameless, observe the upright;
a future awaits those who seek peace.
My husband will seek peace and pursue it…
39 The salvation of the righteous[my husband] comes from the LORD;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
40 The LORD helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.
Thank you Father for your deliverance from the wicked. Thank you
Reavealing to us the deep and secret things. You are joy, our peace, our refuge and strength
in all the seasons of our life. In Jesus Name I pray…AMEN!

God’s Word – … let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18

An Acronym for Love ~
Love one another…John 15:12
Obey the truth… 1Peter 1:22
Virtue …add to your faith virtue… 2Peter 1:5
Encourage one another daily… Hebrws 3:13

Encouragement Shared:

The Biblical View of Love:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
The world’s definition of love is misinterpreted, perhaps even skewed if you will. I share these things to sharpen our swords and to encourage us because of the deceitfulness of sin that plagues us every day. We need to be in the word of God daily … yes every day so that we can be strengthened and equipped by the word of God. So that we love as we are commanded to do – Love one another deeply because love covers a multitude of wrongs.

A World View of Love:
In the worlds definition there is nothing definitive about love. Love is based on false deceptions; preconceptions of following as the world would say: Follow your heart! Follow my heart, according to the word of God my heart is wicked and deceitful [Jeremiah 17:9]
We fall in love, we fall out of love. We fall out of love, perhaps we have been wronged. Even worse perhaps an individual we once loved no longer lives up to our standard of un-definitive definition of what we perceive love to be. More than likely the answer is the latter… Where does that leave our relationships within marriage? Un-forgiveness due to: brokenness leading to bitterness leaving us in a dis-grace from God. That ultimately separates us from God.

Father let us not love with empty words but uplifting words in
actions in truth. Your word is truth. Remove from us every
form of bitterness; anger or malice be removed from us
so that you can prune those bitter roots that defile many.
Show your daughters your ways; teach them your truth in
our marriage and relating one to another through respect.
Let us forgive as you father have forgiven us.
Let us love one another deeply because love covers a multitude of sins.
Let us submit and commit to you because in doing so we will submit and commit to husbands.
The king’s heart [our husband] is in your hands LORD; your direct it like a watercourse wherever you please. We thank you Father that you direct the king’s heart. Thank you Father for the victories you give. In Jesus name we pray…Amen!
