God’s Word – Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10

Encouragement Shared:
When I was part of a home group bible study we started a corporate prayer & fast once a month for our children.  The truth is that is the most powerful weapon that we have to win the spiritual war against our children or any battle is through every word of God, prayer & fasting.
As Isaiah the prophet states through God; Fasting & Prayer brings results; Isaiah 58:8-11
The most courageous and faith filled godly parents I know hold on to the hope they profess in God through Christ. along with the power of the Holy Spirit..Those are the Saints in the body that regardless of what happens they are confident that God is in control.  His promise to you Mom & Dad-Uncle & Aunt; Brother and Sister; This is what the LORD says: “Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded,” declares the LORD.  “They will return from the land of the enemy.  So there is hope for your future,” declares the LORD.  “Your children will return to their own land. Jeremiah 31:16-17
 Keep the FAITH…CB100732

Without the faith it is impossible to please God.  Hebrews 11:6
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  Romans 4:18  ”They will return from the land of the enemy.” [Jeremiah 31:16]
So when things go wrong trust and believe God’s awesome promise to you Mom & Dad… “They will return from the land of the enemy.”  “They will return from the land of the enemy.”  “They will return from the land of the enemy.”

 O LORD, I call to you; come quickly to me.
       Hear my voice when I call to you.
 May my prayer be set before you like incense;
       may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
Set a guard over my mouth, O LORD;
       keep watch over the door of my lips. Psalm 141:1,2,3-

Encouragement Shared:
Who ever said; Sticks and stones may break my bones but your words will never harm me…
That is truly a lie from the pit…  If words did not hurt we as a people would not have the issues
of life that we struggle with on a day to day basis. The power of our words are so powerful when we
are in prayer and petition.  What happens when our words are not edifying or eloquent?
Think back to those moments our words were not pleasing toward our spouse,
children, family or friends.  How about the customer service clerk who gives you a store credit instead of cash?

j0227797We Praise and We Curse:

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness.  Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.  Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water. James 1:9-12 – The proverbs speaks of the power of our words; The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21
James states about the smallest part of bodies;
The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body.
It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. James 3:6 – The power of our words DO BRING LIFE OR DEATH…God’s Word says so…
