God’s Word: …you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
I call out to the Lord,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.
I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
Psalm 3:3-5

Encouragement Shared: Each day we lay down and we wake up, it really is a testimony of God’s faithfulness through love, mercy and grace. As I sit quietly before him … Looking out to nature before me, I see palm trees, I hear the birds … and I hear the faint noise of traffic going by. It is in those quiet times that give me the reassurances through the word that God’s presence is always with us. He is in control of all matters both big and small. He sustains us in all circumstances. Psalm 91 states; His faithfulness will be your [our] shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day. Yes, the will guard us beloved, regardless of the battle before you. In the midst of our troubles the Lord preserve’s our life.

Rest in His Confidence;
The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. Isaiah 32:17

Trust in the Lord forever … He is our rock eternal [Isaiah 26:4] As you step into your day confidently say; The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. [Psalm 23] He is our joy and our strength and nothing can keep us down. His faithful love will carry us through from glory to glory and strength to strength.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the gift of Christ in us. Thank you for the assurance of your word, we can rest on your promises because you are the lifter of our heads. Thank you for your love and faithfulness … Your joy and your protection. Father help us to take heed to your word, may it redefine and refine us. It is in Jesus name I pray …Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,
Love-excellently

God’s Word on Fear: – The Lord is your helper… So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Encouragement Shared:
God has said, ”Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. “So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13: 5-8 My Encouragement to you – Cast Out ALL Fears and Doubts! I always think of my Pastor and His Wife- Bernard and Gloria King, their lives are an encouragement through the faith they have. They consistantly speak boldly the word of truth.

The Proverbs state; Fear of man always proves to be a snare.

Fear is one of those sins that cause havoc and destruction in life of a Christian; Bottom line fear is sin…

It deceives through the lies that plague our thoughts it is a platform of lies; bad choices and consequences… I call it lies and consequences; we buy the lie, react to lie and suffer consequences based on a lie and not the word of truth as told by God. As a child of the “Most High” we must consider the word of God as a mirror of our souls in order to have understanding, clarity and true perspective of where we are at and prune those bad roots. Jesus speaks of this in the John Chapter 15 (recommended reading) I am the vine you are the branches. John 15:5

Fear has a consequence and it paralyzes us from hearing God through the power of His word. It deviates us from a kingdom minded focus.

The focus then becomes focus on self…Jesus stated not my will be done but yours be done:”Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Luke 22:42

Fear-This is what the Lord states about fear; Do not be afraid or dismayed-So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,

God’s Word: the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does. James 1:25

Encouragement Shared:
Beloved, regardless of our outward circumstances we must be encouraged by the word of God inscribed on the tablet of our hearts. Not just knowing the scripture is enough, it is having the faith in our times of need that really brings the word to life in us.

Blessings Come In Listening: God’s word encourages us to do what God’s word instructs us to do. When we follow the commands of God’s word we will be blessed in all that we do. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does. James 1:22-25

Check List to Success:
Regardless of the outward circumstance of our circumstance, trust that God is in control:
 Do Not Fret
 Trust in the LORD
 Delight in the LORD
 Commit to the LORD
 Be Still before the LORD
 Refrain from Anger

Psalm 37
New International Version 1984 (NIV1984)
Psalm 37
1 Do not fret because of evil men
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.
9 For evil men will be cut off,
but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.
10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy great peace.
