Pro-Life vs. LOVE

God’s Word: I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, Ephesians 3:16

Wisdom Shared;

To all the “Pro-Lifers” who profess Christ as your Lord and Savior. I have been seeing and reading your commentaries, memes and posts regarding those people that state they are pro-choice. The truth is we must be willing to share; …but in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15

Wisdom Shared:  The truth is: We were once foolish and disobedient according to God’s Holy Scriptures; Titus 3:2-4 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared … By the grace of God we have been saved, no longer ensnared by the trappings and lies of this world. It is to our glory through God to answer the call to shine the light of Christ before thOse poor in spirit, broken and lost souls in order that they can know the truth to be set free; the gospel of peace through the hope we have. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you [Christian], the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, Ephesians 1:18 … Just as we are instructed — to forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you…because if we do not forgive others and their sins, your Father will not forgive you. This is pertinent instruction especially for those who believe it is a woman’s right to choose to abort a child. How can we reach them if we are behaving judgmental and critical? How can we share the testimony of God at work? I’m sorry we are not answering our call to love one another deeply with a pure heart and sincere faith through a clear conscience. 1 Timothy 1:5 We need to share out of benevolent heart, mercy, love, justice and humility with God leading the way. Is God leading the way when you’re sharing memes and sarcastic comments and post over Pro-choice issues they have no wisdom about?- Share the reason for your hope with gentleness and respect.

The Encouragement: #Training #Instruction #Love

Do not seek to be perfect, seek instead to work at love in excellence…but only through the grace of God. Parenting: It requires sacrificial love, commitment, consideration, planning, and the desire to give endless amounts of time, patience, understanding, seeking wisdom to impart wisdom … and yes many prayers. The path to success starts first with true love, guiding our children; by lovingly training – instruction for direction.   It’s not designer clothes, or the latest over priced sneakers, or the latest electronic gadgets, or expensive gestures that put us into financial ruin … It’s all about protection, safety, care and listening, spending quantitative – qualitative time … showing: truth, respect, honor through love toward our children. It’s living the talk …not just talking the talk. It’s correction without breaking spirits… Sound counsel without reckless words. Loving in the most excellent ways.  It is a mind set of self-discipline and order.  If we are seeking relationship with God growing in spiritual wisdom, you have a future of success.  Remember I said success not perfection that creates stress.  Our children model our behavior.  If we swear, they swear … If we grumble and complain they complain.   If we act out our anger; they will do the same… you get the point.  It’s not easy but take advice from a who knows for a fact that is the cause and effect.

Correction Connection:

So often, I witness the breaking of spirits in children, while I am out and about… This is coming from a mother that raised two children one of them,an extremely active child.  I can tell you losing your cool is not good.  Breaking your child’s esteem is greatly at risk. If your child doesn’t do well running errands with you then don’t bring him/her.  Work it in during your work week… before work, during lunch or after  work before pick-up.  Make your free time about family time, after all in the blink of an eye they are off to college and onto their own lives.

Shop On-line

If you are a single parent,try doing Wal-Mart on line grocery ordering,  a $50.00 minimum then pick it up later.  Check out your local markets see if they offer that service.  There services that are doing this for a minimal fee.  Do as much of on-line business as possible, technology is a great asset we can do on line banking, bill payments, shop for supplies for the house, school and work.

You can even keep up with the kids academics – You  don’t need to be hit with a last minute project and scramble around to help them complete it.  We can view the class syllabus on line; set your smart phones up for strategies and plan with you children.

Best Plans in Motion: The best plan is to have a plan. Use tools; smart-phones wall planners and organizers; you can buy those peel and stick on the wall.  Assigning chores;  is a necessary tool to teach order and direction.  My son and daughter were excellent at this because they were competitive.  Their competitiveness not only got the house cleaned and laundry done, they made sure it stayed that way.  I miss those days.  - The most important order of keeping life in order is getting rest … do your best to get you and everyone to bed early.  Nothing more stressful than working with no sleep.  The body needs to rest, repair and rejuvenate.  Do pray consistently daily find a time that works best for you. – Pray in you alone time; the kids nap time and pray as a family, it keeps good communication  between you and God and God and the children.  This is what I call faith in action…  Be blessed and rest in his presence.

Thelma & Louise” – A Lesson in where the mind goes we follow…


God’s Word:

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Romans 8:30 NIV

Wisdom Shared: I have often heard it said, “Where the mind goes man follows” … It is because of that inclination God reiterates those oh so important points throughout the scriptures.  It was on my weekly call with my oldest, that during our conversation we spoke of the useless violence going on all around us.,,,shooting rampages…that lead to injuries and even death.  It was this profound word, that my oldest child stated; ” It is demonic… because of the violence in the music that people listen to eventually gets ingrained in their brain,  Then they act on it.”  As I was watching TV, and channel surfing I came across the movie; Thelma & Louise it brought to my thoughts. Where the mind goes the man/woman follows-it reiterates the need to think on positive thoughts.

Think on These Things

7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brothers, whateveris true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right,whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think on these things. 9Whatever you have learned and received and heard from me, and seen in me, put these things into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.…

Godly To Do List:
  • Whatever is Honorable
  • Whatever is Right
  • Whatever is Pure
  • Whatever is lovely
  • Whatever is admirable
  • Whatever is excellent or praise worthy … Think on these things.
Thelma and Louise although it was a fictional movie there was an lesson that no bad deed goes unpunished.  It was a dark ending… but it does have an important hidden message,  … A life left to self is not good.  The life with out king Jesus, brings on sorrow and brokenness.  The truth is that without the power of God in us … Life’s hardships can lead us to a dead end.  Yes, Beloved, Jesus is calling us to remain in Him.  To believe in the promise through the word of hope through out the Bible. Although many may perceive that the Bible is an antiquated book that is not fitting to today’s standards.  Trust and believe that the opposite is true- If God is for us who can be against us? How often in the life of a Christian have we heard and often repeated that?… The truth Beloved God has called us and so generously equips us with every need-every circumstance. Yes because of God’s great love; we are more than conquerors.
