God’s Word ~
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25-26

Encouragement Shared: As I meditate on this Psalm and these verses it brings to mind the reality of the promise of God’s word. The reality is God’s word revives the heart, fills our spirit with good things. The main ingredient for this personal revival is “Faith”.

This year has been a very difficult year physically… I have an auto-immune disease called scleroderma. I was diagnosed almost 13 years ago. In 2000, I had end stage kidney failure, then in May 2002, my kidney function returned. It is only through the grace of God I’ve been healthy and blessed to live a normal life without any debilitating issues that this aweful disease brings. This year from February to May, I have been in and out of the hospital. < It has been a personal time of reflection, it has been a true testament of God’s continued grace for me. I thank God for his unfailing love through those wonderful saints that have come along side of me in prayer, and in loving acts of kindness to help. Through this season it has reiterated that we may have our plans but, it is God’s purpose that prevails. [Psalm 16] I have learned that I must slow it down. I must put more trust in the God I serve and be less dependent on my own strength. I thank the Father for his unfailing love, for his grace and glory in my life.

So often we set our minds on our circumstance instead of trusting God to be our provider, the strength of our hearts. We need to come to the understanding if God is for us? Who can be against us?

Things to Consider:
I want you beloved to consider those issues that keep you from allowing God the Father to revive, renew and restore your faith to a higher understanding. Make a list and prayer over those issues that hinder the faith.

Verse for Encouragement: The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. Habakkuk 3:19 ~

Habakkuk’s Prayer

16 I heard and my heart pounded,
my lips quivered at the sound;
decay crept into my bones,
and my legs trembled.
Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity
to come on the nation invading us.
17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights.

God’s Word – Look to the Lord and his strength;seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:11

Encouragement Shared:
The Power of Prayer through the Word of God is a powerful tool, I was prompted to send this prayer of protection. Beloved may his protection empower you to continue to seek the Lord diligently…His words states By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth. I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me. Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness. Proverbs 8:16-18

Empowered by God’s Word:
In Order to be “EMPOWERED” with God’s strength we must spend time in the presence of the Almighty God and in His word.
Just as we need food and water for our bodies, we need the enrichment of God’s Word in our spirit to empower us to do every good work we are
called to do through Christ in us.

God is the Strength of Our Heart: Let God through Christ he be the strength of your heart today and forever more… May you be joyful, pray continually, be thankful in all circumstance, this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus…The one who calls you is faithful and will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18;24

Prayer of Protection Psalm 4

Heavenly Father
We thank you for love; your mercies that fail not, Great is your “Faithfulness” -We thank you Father for the word of hope that is sown into our hearts To lift us up when we are down. We sing praises to your name, Our Lord and King. We thank you for the Holy Spirit that you have deposited in us, we thank you for Loving us so much that you gave your one and only Son to die on that cross to become an
offering for me this wicked servant and all your children that call upon the name of the Lord Through Jesus Christ… Father I lift up to you Your Precious Daughters, hear her when she calls O God of my righteousness! You have relieved Your Daughters in all her distress; Have mercy on Your Daughters, and hear her prayer. How long, O you sons of men, Will you turn my glory to shame? How long will you love worthlessness And seek falsehood? May Your Daughter know that the LORD has set apart for Himself she who is godly; The LORD will hear when Your Daughters calls to you.

Your word exhorts us: Be angry, and do not sin. May Your Precious Daughters meditate within her heart on her bed, and be still. She will offer the sacrifices of righteousness, And put her trust in her LORD the living God. There are many who say, “Who will show us any good?” LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon Your Daughters, their entire household- marriages husband, children, – singleness, families and special friends. You have put gladness in Your Daughter’s heart, more than in the season that their grain and wine increased. Your Daughters will both lie down in peace, and sleep; may her sleep renew her youth like the eagles. For You alone, O LORD, make Your Daughters dwell in safety. We thank you for your tender mercies; we thank you that even thought weeping may last for a night joy comes in the morning. May the joy of the Lord be Your Daughters’s strength; as she moves from glory to glory – strength to strength till you become the strength of her heart today and for ever more. In Jesus name I pray Amen!

Love in Christ,

God’s Word: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Timothy 3:16-17;

Prophetic Words Are Encouraging; We all look to the Lord for a prophetic word. Isaiah The Prophet shared many prophetic words that came to fruition. The words of prophecy were not of his human outlook it was the spoke by the Lord through him. Words of encouragement, warning, instruction and yes he shared the prophecy of Christ. From the conception of the young virgin mother to be through his death and resurrection.
It is truly through the divine power given us that we grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding to discern the words of God spoken to us. His word is to become a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. It is only through the word of God that prepares of for every good work in Christ.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Timothy 3:16-17;

I love that verse because that verse rings so true in any life of a Christian who loves reading the word. It brings forth within us wisdom, knowledge and joy to preserve through each and every circumstance, it builds up godly confidence to stand firm. …consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. but when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.Tthat man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. James 1:2-8

Prayer for Today;

That we would continue to grow in faith, wisdom and knowledge to know God’s will for our lives.

For this reason, since the day I heard about you, I will continue to pray for you and your entire household and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And will continue to pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption,the forgiveness of sins. I thank you Father for word that you have sown in us through grace and love, I thank you for each soul reading this devotion and I thank you for the advance answer to each prayer put before your throne of grace. In Jesus name … Amen!
