Journey to LOVE ~

God’s Word on Love: The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 1 Timothy 1:5

Encouragement Shared:

How often I find that we forget the godly attributes of love, for that reason it tends to limit our love to one another by setting up limitations. God has put no limitations on His love for us. That is why we must remember his word on love. Love is not feeling but a command of God that only comes from loving God, and spending time in His Word getting to know his character through memorizing, reading, meditating, application and prayer. When I think of love I think of the sacrifices that it requires. It requires sincere faith, commitment, trust and devotion to God through Christ. All we need to do is look to cross and remember the sacrifice made for us through Christ. He was born to die for us… He took on the punishment of our transgressions and sins to give us eternal life; freedom from those things that keep us ensnared to the fears that imprisons us.

God Refines The Heart:
When I think of Love that comes from a pure heart I think of David in his song of repentence Psalm 51:10-14
10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will turn back to you.
14 Save me from bloodguilt, O God,
the God who saves me,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, Help to number our days so we may gain a heart of wisdom through memorizing, reading, meditating, applying and praying over your word so that we would not sin against you… As we reflect on your word create in us a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Teach us how to love from a pure heart… Restore to us the joy of your salvation and grant us a willing spirit to sustain us through the power of your love, and the wisdom of your word. We thank you for your sustaining grace. In Jesus name we pray…Amen!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,

God’s Word

You have made known to me the path of life;
 you will fill me with joy in your presence,
 with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11

Joy In Our Journey…

Joy is a source of delight or being according to Mirriam-Webster. The source of delight is Jesus – The state of being is intamacy with Christ through the word of hope “The Bible”…  God’s word is a source of Joy through wisdom and power of Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit in us giving us direction – clarity – for a purpose and hope.  Yes sisters, the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 – Jesus is the Joy that gives us the strength to persevere in life.  Jesus is the joy that equips us for every good work we are called to do through Him.  May Jesus continue to be your joy as you grow in wisdom and grace.

Psalm 16 – NIV~

  1 Keep me safe, O God,
   for in you I take refuge.

 2 I said to the LORD, “You are my Lord;
   apart from you I have no good thing.”
3 As for the saints who are in the land,
   they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.
4 The sorrows of those will increase
   who run after other gods.
I will not pour out their libations of blood
   or take up their names on my lips.

 5 LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup;
   you have made my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
   surely I have a delightful inheritance.

 7 I will praise the LORD, who counsels me;
   even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I have set the LORD always before me.
   Because he is at my right hand,
   I will not be shaken.

 9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
   my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the grave,
   nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
11 You have made known to me the path of life;
   you will fill me with joy in your presence,
   with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

A Prayer … Psalm 16
LORD, you alone are our portion and our cup; you make our lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for your daughters  in pleasant places;
surely we have a delightful inheritance.
We will praise you our LORD, who counsels us;  even at night our heart instructs us.   We will Keep our eyes always on you LORD.  With you at our right hand, We will not be shaken.
Therefore our heart is glad and our tongue rejoices;
our body also will rest secure,
 because you will not abandon us to the realm of the dead,
 nor will you let your faithful one see decay.
 You make known to us the path of life;
 you will fill your daughters with joy in your presence,
 with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
 In Christ name we pray….Amen!

God’s Word – I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.  Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. John 15:11-13

Hello Daughters of the King,

I wanted to send a prayer of encouragement as we prepare our hearts and minds
while stepping out in faith by praying through God’s Word.
The encouragement to you is; To know the command of our Lord Jesus to Love one another. We will be visiting and praying through God’s Word on how to Love as we are called to LOVE.  We have the God’s love letter the bible to fill us to completion through each and every circumstance.  I hope that you join us in this journey to pray through the word for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.  Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1John 3:18

Praying Through God's Word
1. The Word of God is Alive:

The word is active alive and sharper than any double edge sword, for this reason
It will bring forth deliverance, healing and equipping for every good work.
2. The Enemy Will Flee:
The word states stand firm in faith and the enemy will flee.  Faith comes from hearing the message
And the message is every word of Christ.  I always reflect on Matthew Chapter 4 Jesus’ Temptation in the Desert… He used the word of God against the enemy and attained the VICTORY…
