God’s Word – The Lord—he is our God.
His justice is everywhere throughout the whole world.
God remembers his covenant forever,
the word he commanded to a thousand generations,
which he made with Abraham,
the solemn pledge he swore to Isaac. Psalm 105:7-9

Wisdom Shared:

God’s justice is everywhere the earth  is full of His unfailing love.  When times are filled with gloom and doom rest faithfully in the promise Beloved, the earth is filled with His unfailing love.  There are seasons of hardship that come in like waves of the sea … The other day a friend called and shared with me that her prayers were answered the hardship is behind her.  As I listened on the other end of the phone… I thought of my very own life, filled with hardships and strife.  Filled with hopelessness and yes, even depression… Recently, the battle for joy has been ongoing … as of late, there seems to be conditional occurrences that have spun out of control.  If I do not focus on the Almighty God and his word it can cause me to slowly slip into an even more difficult place.    God’s promises fill us with hope – faith – love.   Let all the earth sing … the rivers will clap their hands; the mountains will sing of your glory… Beloved set your minds on things above, and do not lean on your own understanding. God’s plans are always best, so as long as you remain in HIM it through the promises of the word we can rest. Do not dwell on the past, move forward and know like you know your name… There is a strong tower and it is Christ in us. Just call to Jesus, Jesus, Jesus and the word of promise states he answers us when we call. The Bible states: “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. Psalm 91:15  Beloved, do not forget all the wonderful works of the Lord in your life…  Do not grieve; the joy of the Lord is our strength.  He has eternal blessing waiting for you … He is our strength and our joy in times of joy, in times of sorrow there is always tomorrow – to start new again.  Be encouraged and encourage one another through good works through God’s unfailing love poured out in you.  Sing worship songs of praise through the Psalms … it will lift you up to a level of joy that will empower you.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

God’s Word: Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Proverbs 4:4

Wisdom Shared: We cannot allow our hard circumstances define us … Instead we must take a personal inventory and ask God for wisdom, direction along with strength. Yes beloved, God is faithful to direct our paths. Stand tall be of “Good Courage” and “Good Cheer” the Lord is near… So therefore do not fear, he will direct your paths. The Lord is faithful to reveal the truths that give us freedom through Christ that gives us strength.

Hard Times are Lessons:

Hard Times will come into our life …it is after all part of life. So do not strife with those closest to you. Do not dismiss, or make demeaning remarks, do not allow any bitter root sprout up within and defile many. When emotions control us it only leads to disparity. Emotions out of control bring forth: Anger, rage, resentment,
depression, oppression and worst of all pride. These traits turn into bitterness, and bitterness makes a firm foundation for a hard heart.

Beloved, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline …the Lord disciplines those he loves. Be mindful in all you do and follow the commands of the word of God; it sets an example to all looking on and know that you belong to Christ. The word commands us; Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the wisdom of your word. May we persevere in all circumstances, being an encouragement to
those looking on at our lives. Make us more like you… Give us the revelations we need to be more loving and
honorable to you, in all we do. In Christ name we pray…. Amen!

The Need for Self-Discipline: Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Wisdom Shared:
The Race for Grace… Is truly the race for life, an eternal life. However, do you find yourself caught up in a different race? We are racing against the clock at all times, sometimes even to the point we are sleep deprived. We race to get our day started, … rushing the children out the door. Then we race to get to work, get the projects done, skip lunch after all lunch is for wimps. Then the clock strikes five, and we are off again for the race; Kids, homework, dinner, house chores, bill paying, maybe a little television or activity on social media then bed. We wake up and it starts all over again.

Self-Discipline is not a Curse:
I recently discovered that in order for plans to succeed we need to have the power of self-discipline in order to keep order. Discipline seems to be one of those bad words we find to be completely annoying. Is it perhaps because we find it tedious? It requires effort, and consideration. The word submission similarly has the same negative connotation, when I share word submission with a friend, right away there is a grimace. Beloved 1 John 5:2-4 states; This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. … Yes, the scriptures state that his commands are not burdensome, truth is not seeking to do his will in fact is burdensome. Seeking excellence rather than perfection is the goal of our faith, and is the victory in the race. Trying to live according to our will, our goals and timelines creates, havoc and disillusionment. In my very own journey for the race for grace it has led me to be angry, bitter and distressed opening the door to displaying no mercy, no grace, no empathy and definitely no sympathy. How is that the love of God at work in me? It is not love… It is critical cynical thinking that demolishes others, prideful behavior. I have this scripture verse hanging off the rear view mirror of my car; But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33;34 … Seeking God first puts life in correct perspective; seek to live according to his will empowers us to face the day and what ever may go astray, God will turn it around. Beloved seeking God first adds a godly confidence, wisdom, knowledge and understanding that reinforces discipline in our lives. Where there is no discipline there is every kind of disorder waiting. The bible reaffirms; For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3:16-17

Beloved; Run the race for “Eternal Life”…
