“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,” Colossians 1:9 NIV

Encouragement Shared:
Colossians 1:3-4 a powerful area of scripture. I am personally led to pray this area of scripture and it is awesome. Yes, beloved…I reserve the word awesome for the things of God. The power of prayer is powerful and effective. The power of praying God’s word in prayer is awesome; it keeps our prayers in alignment with the spirit, along with God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. It keeps the word of God written on the tablet of our hearts. One of my biggest encouragements is to memorize God’s word, to spend time reading it and praying over it. Praying God’s word brings wisdom, understanding and results that are truely effective. Praying over God’s word is the encouragement that opened the oppourtunity for me to start this blog. God’s is word living, active… it is sharper than a double-edged sword, it penetrates even divides the soul and spirit. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. [Hebrews 4:12]

My encouragement for you today beloved; Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

Colossians Chapter 1
Thanksgiving and Prayer

3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel 6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace. 7 You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant,[c] who is a faithful minister of Christ on our[d] behalf, 8 and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.

Trust-Delight-Commit in Him- He will give you the desire of your heart... Psalm 37

God’s Promise

Do not fret because of evil men
       or be envious of those who do wrong;
for like the grass they will soon wither,
       like green plants they will soon die away.
Trust in the LORD and do good;
       dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Delight yourself in the LORD
       and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD;
       trust in him and he will do this:
 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
       the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
       do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
       when they carry out their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:1-7

Hope deferred make the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12
It is during the storms of life if we are paying attention and seeking God with all our heart, mind and strength that we can hear the voice of the Lord speaking to us directly…  It is in the storms of life; that we learn perseverance through God’s all sustaining grace through Christ Jesus.  The verse that brings this truth to reality; For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. 2 Chronicles 16:9 Yes, when we are fully committed to God there is peace and joy yes,  even in our suffering; No one likes to speak of suffering and on top of that to associate it with joy.  The truth is if we are paying attention and to seek the scriptures diligently yes, God the Father directs our paths.  It becomes about truth, revelation, restoration- and not about emotions, feelings leading us astray.

Feelings Are Not Standards for Biblical Truths:
As daughters of the King we must base our decisions on biblical truths that set us free. There is power in the scriptures; There is destructions with our emotions.  Feelings are fleeting; But the word of God remains faithful

For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. 2 Chronicles 16:9

and true.  Sisters we are justified by faith through the peace we have through Christ, we have gained grace to move forward in His all sustaining grace. In other words we rejoice in the hope of glory, we also rejoice in suffering because it produces perseverance- perseverance builds character; character fosters hope and hope never disappoints!  [Read Romans 5:1-5]   May he fulfill the desires of your heart…

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
I Thank, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when I pray for the saints in the body of Christ like your precious daughters…because of Their faith in Christ Jesus and of the love your daughters have for the saints — the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for each of your daughters in the kingdom of heaven and that your daughter has already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to each of your daughters. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among the life of your precious daughters since the day they heard it and understood your grace in all its truth. May your word reveal the truth of their hearts not leading to emotional assessments and decisions – but from a point of truth and your strength.   Yes, let us not lean on our own understanding, but seek you in ALL decisions.  In all our ways we will acknowledge you so that you may direct our paths.  Thank you Father for the  advance answer to our prayers… In Jesus name we pray… AMEN!

Prayer for Marriage-Colossians Chapter 1 ~

Encouragement Shared:
I was prompted to write Colossians Chapter 1 prayer for marriage.
The enemy’s greatest weapon is to wreak havoc on our families and the place is in our marriages.  I share with you sisters he has made everything beautiful in his time; he has set eternity in the hearts of men [women] Marriage is a ministry of selfless acts of love.  When we start looking to the cross and bring Jesus into our marriages he brings forth strengthening that is supernatural…  I challenge you to bring Christ into your marriage; your intimacy between you husband; your communicating; your finances…etc. etc., etc… The bible states Ecclesiastes 4:12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
 I always thank you, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when I pray for saints in the body of Christ, because I have heard of their faith in Christ Jesus and of the love your saints have for all the one another— the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for us, your Sons and Daughters in heaven and that they have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among them since the day they heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth.
 For this reason, since the day I heard about your Sons and Daughters  Father, I will continually be praying as the spirit leads for Sons and Daughters in their marriages and asking you Father to fill both Sons and Daughters  with the knowledge of YOUR will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And I pray this in order that your Sons and Daughters will abide in Christ through their marriages  in unity and love may live a life worthy of You Father and may please YOU in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God their Heavenly Father, being strengthened and rooted with all power according to YOUR glorious might so that  yours Sons and Daughters  may have great endurance and patience with all grace through the tender mercies in their relationship in marriage –  You Father have shown them individually also  to be toward one another, and joyfully giving thanks to you Father, who has qualified your Sons and Daughters  to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. For you Lord have rescued us all who call on Jesus [ Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!!!] from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son you love, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.  Thank you Father for the answer to this prayer and each prayer placed on your throne of Grace on behalf all marriages that exist in the body of Christ, and those yet to be;  through each saint interceding and petitioning in prayer for them. Bless those saints for their obedience to stand in the gap Father. Bring your Sons and Daughters  to a peace that surpasses all understanding…That no weapon forge against them or their marriage would prevail, protect them, guide their hearts, mind and spirit in word, action and deed.
Reveal those truths that will set them free in love, justice and mercy… Thank you for the tender mercies you give leading to victories you have waiting for your children in their marriages and individually may they have supernatural deliverances’ that will increase their faith and bring forth the bond of peace.  In Jesus Name we pray…AMEN!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,
