31 Days in Proverbs ~

God’s Word: Sing the praises of the LORD, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done. Psalm 9:11

Encouragement Shared: The Jackson 5 Tune is stuck in my head… I’ll be there… Just call my name and I’ll be there… to comfort, protect and love you… That’s mentioned over and over. When I was just a girl I use to run to the radio each time I heard that song. I’ll be there – The truth is we can depend on the one and only true love to bring us salvation, restoration … Yes, our one true love brings us love and protection. His name is Jesus… He brings us … Honor and power to empower us in super natural ways. Yes, beloved, we sing praises to the name of the Lord because of all the wondrous deeds.

Yes, Father you have mercy on us, yes you are the lifter of our heads and you lift us up from the gates of death, … that we may declare your praises in the gates of Daughter Zion, and there rejoice in your salvation. We thank for your mercies that fail not … great is your faithfulness. We thank you for your loving kindnesses. In Jesus Name … AMEN!
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,

Psalm 9
1 I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
3 My enemies turn back;
they stumble and perish before you.
4 For you have upheld my right and my cause,
sitting enthroned as the righteous judge.
5 You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked;
you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.
6 Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies,
you have uprooted their cities;
even the memory of them has perished.
7 The LORD reigns forever;
he has established his throne for judgment.
8 He rules the world in righteousness
and judges the peoples with equity.
9 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble.
10 Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
11 Sing the praises of the LORD, enthroned in Zion;
proclaim among the nations what he has done.
12 For he who avenges blood remembers;
he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.
13 LORD, see how my enemies persecute me!
Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,
14 that I may declare your praises
in the gates of Daughter Zion,
and there rejoice in your salvation.
15 The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug;
their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.
16 The LORD is known by his acts of justice;
the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.[c]
17 The wicked go down to the realm of the dead,
all the nations that forget God.
18 But God will never forget the needy;
the hope of the afflicted will never perish.
19 Arise, LORD, do not let mortals triumph;
let the nations be judged in your presence.
20 Strike them with terror, LORD;
let the nations know they are only mortal.

God’s Word

Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God,
you who have done great things.
Who, O God, is like you?
Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter,
you will restore my life again;
from the depths of the earth
you will again bring me up.
You will increase my honor
and comfort me once again.
Psalm 71:19-21

Encouragement Shared:
As I meditate on this verse, in my very own life I can share that God’s righteousness is un-ending.  My troubles were many, and yes my soul bitter.  God restored my life again through his love and comfort.  I was drowning in sorrows of self-pity; disparity and depression.  Outwardly all appeared to be well; inwardly I was lonely and afraid.  My life was not what I had hoped for;  sad marriage that led to divorce.  Singleness with two children over-whelming; one child with special needs out of control and a relationship I so wanted was not going as well as I hoped.  The combination of all these things kept my eye on all the wrongs in my life; the sin and the strife over-whelmed my life.   Through my acceptance of Christ as Lord and savior it was through the word the truth about the lies were revealed.  God’s word has truth, power; revelation and it shows us the consequence of our sin.  Regardless of where we are spiritually if we recognize that Christ is our Lord or not, if we acknowledge the “FACT” that Christ is way the truth or the life. [John 14:16]  We will reap the godly benefits of a relationship with God through Christ.  The word directs us to cast our anxieties on him because he cares for us.  Today, it is only through the love of God through Christ that my life has been restored to a better no longer bitter place. Thank you Lord! more…

28 Days to LOVE ~ Day 11

Love Excellently- For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matthew 6:14-15

Love it keeps no record of wrongs…So I have a question why are we record keepers?  Yes, it’s true… as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12   The Lord is faithful,  great is his faithfulness, his mercies are new every morning… [Lamentations 3]
• Keeping records of wrongs only causes division and strife that is not Christ like…
• It creates in us hardness of heart…
• The root of keeping records of wrongs is un-forgiveness… more…
