God’s Word: The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. Psalm 103:6

Encouragement Shared: Oppression is a state of being held down, pressed down and bound by the stresses and worries of life. The Lord states do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow has worries of its own. Matthew 6:34 …
It is through confessions of sins we receive forgiveness- this is true freedom from the bondage and oppression of anger resentment, without forgiveness we become hardened. His forgiveness leads us to the redeeming grace through love – through Christ interceding for us. This is the restoration …the restorative process is the beginning of the healing God so graciously has for us. It is through God the Father’s love that he redeems our life from the pit of despair… and restores us with good things, so that we our youth is renewed like the eagle.

We Lack No Good Thing:
The word reiterates we lack no good thing. [Psalm 84] As I wake today and as I read and ponder Psalm 103 I am reminded in my difficult times that God is with me. We must continually give thanks in all seasons of life. We must not forget all the victories – he has brought us to. He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases renewing us. We must also remember that he doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve. Thank you Father, you are a great and awesome God! Your name is majestic … we will sing praises to your Holy name.
My Prayer – mercy and peace be with you all the days of your life … look to the Lord and his word, remember all the difficulties he has delivered you from.

Psalm 103
1 Praise the LORD, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pitM
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
7 He made known his ways to Moses,
his deeds to the people of Israel:
8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
13 As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him;
14 for he knows how we are formed,
he remembers that we are dust.
15 The life of mortals is like grass,
they flourish like a flower of the field;
16 the wind blows over it and it is gone,
and its place remembers it no more.
17 But from everlasting to everlasting
the LORD’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
18 with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts.
19 The LORD has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all.
20 Praise the LORD, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21 Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
22 Praise the LORD, all his works
everywhere in his dominion.

God’s Word: The LORD has driven out before you great and powerful nations; to this day no one has been able to withstand you. One of you routs a thousand, because the LORD your God fights for you, just as he promised. So be very careful to love the LORD your God. Joshua 23:9-11

Encouragement Shared:We were created to be servants to the “Almighty God” … We need to Love the Lord our God and seek him in truth through the faith given to us. He redeems us from the pit and crowns us with righteousness. [Psalm 37] He revives our heart and fills us with good things. [Psalm 84] He delivers in our time of need brings to glory to glory. We also need to stand firm on the word and yes beloved the enemy will flee.

This is Perseverance:
It is of great importance that we wait patiently on the Lord, meditate on His Word and heed the revelations that are put before us.

The Power of Prayer…
It opens the conversation with God to equip us for every good work through Christ. Jesus stated we are made clean by the word spoken to us. [John 15] It is the power of God at work in us that empowers us to attain the goals of our faith. Beloved it is through our faith that our lives show that we belong to him. It is by faith that enables us the body of Christ to stand firm. As I read Zechariah 3 I was urge to pray for our Pastors…let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, … Fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our “Faith”.

Zechariah 3 – Clean Garments for the High Priest
3 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan[a] standing at his right side to accuse him. 2 The LORD said to Satan, “The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”
3 Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. 4 The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.”
Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.”
5 Then I said, “Put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the LORD stood by.
6 The angel of the LORD gave this charge to Joshua: 7 “This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.
8 “‘Listen, High Priest Joshua, you and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. 9 See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes[b] on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.
10 “‘In that day each of you will invite your neighbor to sit under your vine and fig tree,’ declares the LORD Almighty.”

God’s Word: For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13-14

Isaiah 40:1-2
Comfort, comfort my people,
says your God.
Speak tenderly to Jerusalem,
and proclaim to her
that her hard service has been completed,
that her sin has been paid for,
that she has received from the LORD’s hand
double for all her sins.

Encouragement Shared:
When I read this area of scripture, it always brings to mind the fact that God gives us grace and glory! He has called us to share the good news. He has promoted us to a better place: one of strength and courage … along with wisdom and understanding. As you move forward and act on faith through the confidence gifted by God Almighty remember all the wonders he has done, along with his miracles, 1 Chronicles 16:12…

His Beauty is Our Peace:
Beloved he gives beauty for ashes; strength for fear; gladness for mourning peace for despair … Isaiah 61 It is the through the beauty of His Holiness through His word of truth that empowers us for our battles. And yes beloved, we will endure many hardships and battles in our journey of faith. It is through the trials of life that we are strengthened, it is through the word of God we are equipped to endure them. It is visible by our reaction that our faith is evident. Do not look to human ratification for satisfaction. Look to the one whose love and mercies never fail. He grace and glory, he increases our strength.
