God’s Word: Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.  Proverbs 22:6

The Encouragement: #Training #Instruction #Love

Do not seek to be perfect, seek instead to work at love in excellence…but only through the grace of God. Parenting: It requires sacrificial love, commitment, consideration, planning, and the desire to give endless amounts of time, patience, understanding, seeking wisdom to impart wisdom … and yes many prayers. The path to success starts first with true love, guiding our children; by lovingly training – instruction for direction.   It’s not designer clothes, or the latest over priced sneakers, or the latest electronic gadgets, or expensive gestures that put us into financial ruin … It’s all about protection, safety, care and listening, spending quantitative – qualitative time … showing: truth, respect, honor through love toward our children. It’s living the talk …not just talking the talk. It’s correction without breaking spirits… Sound counsel without reckless words. Loving in the most excellent ways.  It is a mind set of self-discipline and order.  If we are seeking relationship with God growing in spiritual wisdom, you have a future of success.  Remember I said success not perfection that creates stress.  Our children model our behavior.  If we swear, they swear … If we grumble and complain they complain.   If we act out our anger; they will do the same… you get the point.  It’s not easy but take advice from a who knows for a fact that is the cause and effect.

Correction Connection:

So often, I witness the breaking of spirits in children, while I am out and about… This is coming from a mother that raised two children one of them,an extremely active child.  I can tell you losing your cool is not good.  Breaking your child’s esteem is greatly at risk. If your child doesn’t do well running errands with you then don’t bring him/her.  Work it in during your work week… before work, during lunch or after  work before pick-up.  Make your free time about family time, after all in the blink of an eye they are off to college and onto their own lives.

Do the Right Thing:

Shop On-line

If you are a single parent, try doing Wal-Mart on line grocery ordering,  a $50.00 minimum then pick it up later.  Check out your local markets see if they offer that service.  There services that are doing this for a minimal fee.  Do as much of on-line business as possible, technology is a great asset we can do on line banking, bill payments, shop for supplies for the house, school and work.

You can even keep up with the kids academics – You  don’t need to be hit with a last minute project and scramble around to help them complete it.  We can view the class syllabus on line; set your smart phones up for strategies and plan with you children.

Best Plans in Motion: The best plan is to have a plan. Use tools; smart-phones wall planners and organizers; you can buy those peel and stick on the wall.  Assigning chores;  is a necessary tool to teach order and direction.  My son and daughter were excellent at this because they were competitive.  Their competitiveness not only got the house cleaned and laundry done, they made sure it stayed that way.  I miss those days.  - The most important order of keeping life in order is getting rest … do your best to get you and everyone to bed early.  Nothing more stressful than working with no sleep.  The body needs to rest, repair and rejuvenate.  Do pray consistently daily find a time that works best for you. – Pray in you alone time; the kids nap time and pray as a family, it keeps good communication  between you and God and God and the children.  This is what I call faith in action…  Be blessed and rest in his presence.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

In Christ Love,

God’s Word: He gives us grace and glory. Psalm 84:11

Wisdom Shared:

The Bible states; “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. “All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.”  It is through God’s magnaminus glory that we can do any good thing.  Remaining in Him allows us to pour out loving faithfulness and kindnesses to others.  Remaining in Him being renewed day by day allows us to grow in faith, wisdom and knowledge.  Keeping our eyes in Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.  We have this cloud of witnesses …     let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. [ The Discipline of God ] For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls….

The Race for Grace:How often does the worldly race for life interfere with the focus on Christ who gives us new life ?… Strength for the journey.  How often do we give thanks for all circumstance remaining joy filled and thankful as commanded in the book of 1 Thessalonians 5  Life goes pretty quickly and before you know it we are in a new stage where we become tired, beaten down.  There is a need for relationship with the Father through power of Christ interceding for us.  There is enrichment for life through the word of God to renew, restore with its redeeming grace.  Giving  God the glory for every good thing he puts before us.  Looking to God’s grace and truth gives illumination to reveal the journey to true freedom in Christ, to finish the race through grace well.  Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.  For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
My prayer for you today saints may his GRACE abound in you as you continue to put you trust in him…
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,

Psalm 84:5-9
Those who put their strength in you are truly happy;
pilgrimage is in their hearts.
6 As they pass through the Baca Valley,
they make it a spring of water.
Yes, the early rain covers it with blessings.
7 They go from strength to strength,
until they see the supreme God in Zion.
8 Lord God of heavenly forces,
hear my prayer;
listen closely, Jacob’s God! Selah
9 Look at our shield, God;
pay close attention to the face of your anointed one!

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your great grace for the race to end in your glory… Thank you for Christ in us that fill us with your beautiful presence.  Let your daughters/sons move through our day leaving behind us the shame and looking to your glory that fills us with your unfailing love.  You Father are our sun and shield no good thing will you with-hold from your righteous one.  We will sing songs of thanksgiving for your deliverance through the tough journey we find our selves in.  We will sing of your marvelous works … Thank you Father, for the love you pour out in us, thank you for the love through the body of believers … We give you our praise and glory as we move through the day!  In Jesus name-AMEN!

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven… Ecclesiastes 3:1

Time Management … Are you a good Stewart with you time?

Encouragement Shared: Time is a precious commodity that we make great use of. The first thing that is named
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
In this area of scripture; it is speaking of tithing … Being a cheerful giver and giving what we decide to give not reluctantly or under compulsion.

How reluctant are you at the start of things?

• Example 1: The start of the school year?
• Example 2: The start of the work day?
• Example 3: The start of a new season?
• Example 5: The start of a new job or project?
• Example 6: The start of anything that involves giving of your time.
• Example 7: Do you find yourself late to every even?
Because you were distracted by missing socks, nothing to wear or perhaps missing keys or missing wallet?
• Finally : How often do you find yourself under compulsion creating explosive moments just preparing for the day?

Being a good time manager is not something that we wish for… it is something that we must decide to do, then make the commitment to actually do it.
It’s just like that famous slogan we all know… “Just Do It!” let’s not just talking about getting organized lets work on actually doing it. At the start of the new school year we want to make the transition from summer to fall simple and stress free for everyone in our home. I personally was not one of those kids that forgot my text books. Or I forgot to do my special homework assignments unless I just did not want to do it… My stresses are about being prepared for every situation that could possibly occur. I had the blessing of living with a family member in my late teens and I observed that each morning was stress filled, yelling match … and I intervened by posing a question- How do you think the beginning of the day with the high level of stress each morning sets up the children for their day in school? Once I posed that question to my beloved family member she made the vow to change how she managed her time in the morning and was successful in the changes.

Setting The Tone:
Truthfully… I shared; I grew up with the same type of stress; yelling; rushing and feeling discouraged

even before I arrived at school. How we behave sets the tone for our children’s behavior… Beloved, consider those issues in the remaining days this week, in your quiet time journal those things that Seem to add anxiety … stress and emotional tirades at the start of each day… It could be something as simple as a pair of missing socks or homework… Write it down for the next three days.
We can then review those areas of your day that seem to make emotions go astray.

Next Week:
We will look to implement the skills to undo the morning stresses or for some of us the constant stresses throughout the day … And put on our Best.
• Pray
• Prepare
• Prioritize
• Peace will abound~
We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Philippians 4:13
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundantly,
Love in Christ,
