 The Priestly Blessing for you –

 ‘“The LORD bless you
   and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
   and be gracious to you;

the LORD turn his face toward you
   and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

The glory of our God is MAJESTIC… Let us rejoice and praise HIS holy name…Yes let the name of the Lord be PRAISED… As I begin this day, it is still dark and the quietness that is night will soon turn to light as the sunrise appears.  There is a lot of promise in the day through the word of hope.  Yes, seek the Lord with all our strength and believe in faith the promise of HIS “Awesome” word as we step in the day.  Sisters let us not love with just words but let us love with purity of heart with action and in truth!  God’s word is truth and he has called us to greatness in his all sustaining strength and grace.  As we prepare ourselves and our families for the day ahead- getting dressed, making lunches and car-pools, deadlines for work projects; school projects- afterschool activities, etc. etc.  let us look to the cross and to the power of the name that saves Jesus, Jesus Jesus… We love you Jesus!

Prayer: Psalm 67

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for your blessing, for shining your light on us…

We thank you for your forgiveness, your love and the beauty of your Holiness… We will sing praise to your name with all our heart, mind and strength… We Love you Lord and to you we commit our lives and this day… Thank you for the gift of Jesus-Who took our pain, our shame and washed us clean by the shedding of his blood on Calvary… May you God be gracious to us and bless us and make your face shine on us—so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations. May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth.
May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. The land yields its harvest; God, our God, blesses us. May you God  our father bless us still, so that all the ends of the earth will fear you Father. Thank you for your many victories you bring before us… Thank you for Jesus in us… In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

Love in Christ,

Jennifer Pettiford

God’s Promise
Many, O LORD my God,
       are the wonders you have done.
       The things you planned for us
       no one can recount to you;
       were I to speak and tell of them,
       they would be too many to declare. Psalm 40:5
Love is Patient – Love is Kind – God is LOVE… We love because he first loved us. [1John 4]

As I woke up on this beautiful South Florida morning, I woke up with an excitement and a song in my heart because of the goodness of Lord.  His mercy endures forever, if you read Psalm 146 those exact words are reiterated throughout the Psalm.  Today as I started my day patience is the at the top of my mind.  I am working with the children at our church to write the Fruits of The Spirit on their hearts and this week we are visiting patience.  Patience is a godly virtue and we need to cultivate that mind set as daughters of the King.  Psalm 40 came to me to share today; Father, I waited patiently for you, you turned your ear to my cry.  God the Father is hears our cry, so regardless of our outward circumstance rest assure that He is in the midst of the circumstance with us. He is merciful and just and will not relent. During the midst of our troubles yes he preserves our lives. That is exciting!   Psalm 34 states; those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered in shame. The encouragement for today yes we are radiant, we will keep our eye on the Prize [Jesus]; the author and the finisher of our faith, through the joy set before him he was scorned and took our shame when he suffered and died on the cross on Calvary.   So as are we moving through our daily living through a hardship; trial or discipline for sin; consider our Lord and Savior Jesus who endured much opposition from sinful men so that we would not grow weary or lose heart. The thought that comes to mind – we have not suffered or resisted sin to the point where we have shed blood. [Hebrews 12]  No beloved sisters we have not suffered as Jesus suffered for us. So we sing songs of joy and thanksgiving for the many wonders God has done for us… And we do not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according to Your word. Psalm 119:28

 25 My soul clings to the dust;
         Revive me according to Your word.
 26 I have declared my ways, and You answered me;
         Teach me Your statutes.
 27 Make me understand the way of Your precepts;
         So shall I meditate on Your wonderful works.
 28 My soul melts from heaviness;
         Strengthen me according to Your word.
 29 Remove from me the way of lying,
         And grant me Your law graciously.
 30 I have chosen the way of truth;
         Your judgments I have laid before me.
 31 I cling to Your testimonies;
         O LORD, do not put me to shame!
 32 I will run the course of Your commandments,
         For You shall enlarge my heart.

Daleth the fourth letter in the Hebrew alphabet.  When I read these verses; it bring to mind a song we sing during worship; Your word is life to me… Breath for my body, light to my eyes.  The word states; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.  [Psalm 103]
He lifts the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap.
God is word is so faithful to revive our hearts, and lift those who are bent beneath their loads.  more…
