God’s Word:The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you.  I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.  I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:1-3

The Call of Abram is Your Call to Ministry through faith….

Wisdom Shared: What is your call? Have you heard the call of faith for your life Beloved? … It is our opportunity to be salt in light in all areas of our life.  Where ever you have been called, it is your Ministry.  It is our duty of faith to follow the call, it displays God’s glory though the joy of Christ presence in us

The call of Ministry is poured out through the full measure of faith poured out in you beloved.  Today as I read the bible passages f2or my journey through God’s word it revealed “The Call” … Abram’s call is your call.  It is the embodiment of your core being through the empowerment of Christ that gives strength – it is also the wisdom of the Holy Spirit filling you with peace directing – leading through the wisdom of the word engraved on the tablet of your heart, mind that is your core being and belief; Father, Son & Holy Spirit. The reality of the trinity is what shapes and molds us to the person in Christ we have evolved into.  It is Christ in us that brings us to a high level in God’s Army.  …David became more and more powerful, because the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies was with him.-  2 Samuel 5:10

.“O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, God of Israel, I have been bold enough to pray this prayer to you because you have revealed all this to your servant, saying, ‘I will build a house for you— 2 Samuel 7:27.  May all the prayers and revelations through God’s All Powerful word be empowerment for your next divine assignment.

Prayer Psalm 84

Heavenly Father,

Blessed are those who dwell in your house;
they are ever praising you.

5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,    whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
6 As we pass through the Valley of Baka,     we will make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
7 Your sons and daughters will go from strength to strength,    till each appears before God in Zion.

8 Hear our prayer, Lord God Almighty;    listen to us, God of Jacob.
9 Look on our shield,O God;    look with favor on your anointed one.

10 Better is one day in your courts    than a thousand elsewhere;
We would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11 You Lord God are our sun and shield;     You Lord bestow favor and honor;
no good thing do you Lore withhold
from those whose walk is blameless. 12 Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.

In Christ name – AMEN!

Proverbs 1

Purpose and Theme
1 The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel:

2 for gaining wisdom and instruction;
for understanding words of insight;
3 for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
doing what is right and just and fair;
4 for giving prudence to those who are simple,[a]
knowledge and discretion to the young—
5 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance—
6 for understanding proverbs and parables,
the sayings and riddles of the wise.[b]
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools[c] despise wisdom and instruction.
Prologue: Exhortations to Embrace Wisdom
Warning Against the Invitation of Sinful Men
8 Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction
and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
9 They are a garland to grace your head
and a chain to adorn your neck.
10 My son, if sinful men entice you,
do not give in to them.
11 If they say, “Come along with us;
let’s lie in wait for innocent blood,
let’s ambush some harmless soul;
12 let’s swallow them alive, like the grave,
and whole, like those who go down to the pit;
13 we will get all sorts of valuable things
and fill our houses with plunder;
14 cast lots with us;
we will all share the loot”—
15 my son, do not go along with them,
do not set foot on their paths;
16 for their feet rush into evil,
they are swift to shed blood.
17 How useless to spread a net
where every bird can see it!
18 These men lie in wait for their own blood;
they ambush only themselves!
19 Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain;
it takes away the life of those who get it.
Wisdom’s Rebuke
20 Out in the open wisdom calls aloud,
she raises her voice in the public square;
21 on top of the wall[d] she cries out,
at the city gate she makes her speech:
22 “How long will you who are simple love your simple ways?
How long will mockers delight in mockery
and fools hate knowledge?
23 Repent at my rebuke!
Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings.
24 But since you refuse to listen when I call
and no one pays attention when I stretch out my hand,
25 since you disregard all my advice
and do not accept my rebuke,
26 I in turn will laugh when disaster strikes you;
I will mock when calamity overtakes you—
27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm,
when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind,
when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
28 “Then they will call to me but I will not answer;
they will look for me but will not find me,
29 since they hated knowledge
and did not choose to fear the Lord.
30 Since they would not accept my advice
and spurned my rebuke,
31 they will eat the fruit of their ways
and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.
32 For the waywardness of the simple will kill them,
and the complacency of fools will destroy them;
33 but whoever listens to me will live in safety
and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

Proverbs 1

Heavenly Father,

We will worship you LORD with gladness; we will come before you with joyful songs of thanksgiving. We know that you LORD are our God. It is you that made us, and we are your people, the sheep of your pasture. We will honor you and love your commands…We thank you for your forgiveness, that your daughters and sons will forgive others that would sin against them. Your daughters and sons will listen, to their father’s instruction and will not forsake their mother’s teaching. They will be a garland to grace to our heads and a chain to adorn our neck. Your daughters and sons will not be enticed by sinners and will not give in to them. If they say, “Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for someone’s blood, let’s waylay some harmless soul; We will not join or participate in waiting for someone’s blood, so that it would create harm. We will not go along with them, we will not set foot on their paths; Thank you for your presence in our lives. Thank you for the victories you give. Thank you for answers to our prayers…In Jesus name we pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
Love in Christ,

Things to Consider:
• The Price of wisdom is invaluable
• Do not forsake our parents teaching
• Do not let sinners entice you
• Do not let forsake wisdom

God’s Word: For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. Romans 7:18

Wisdom Shared:
How often I find myself relying on self… trying hard to be good. The truth is there is only one person that is good, that would be Jesus…He was born to die for me, for you, and for all humanity. I also find myself stuck in the middle between failing and victory,working to resolve my own issues…falling into that reliance of self. It is a trap a constant whirlwind of hard core circumstances, that come as a result. In the midst of those times the reliance on self brings no victory, no revelation and more importantly no deliverance or healing. It brings to mind that 70’s song:

Stuck In The Middle With You
By – Stealers Wheel- Composers; Gerry Rafferty and Joe Egan
Well I don’t know why I came here tonight,
I got the feeling that something ain’t right,
I’m so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I’m wondering how I’ll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
Stuck in the middle with you

Stuck in the Middle:
I equate this to Israelite’s Exodus out of Egypt. They were stuck for 40 years going around the same mountain. A good friend of mine once told me that the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over, then expecting different results. That is insane! It is a pain staking going nowhere getting the same result. Yet, I do not want to do the same things … I want to do those things that honor God, gain understanding of the scriptures that are directed by God. This is possible through the power of the Holy Spirit in us, along with submissive desire to grow in faith. I want to act in God’s strength in order to gain wisdom and understanding to attain spiritual success. More of Jesus less of me.

Personal Challenge: To summit, commit and delight in God’s word in a deeper more profound way.

Heavenly Father,
Help us to be more like Jesus…and less like us. Thank you for loving us so much, not allow us to remain the same.
Thank you for the gift of Christ who died for us, and empowers us to grow in faith. In Jesus name; Amen!
