God’s Word: Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.  Proverbs 22:6

The Encouragement: #Training #Instruction #Love

Do not seek to be perfect, seek instead to work at love in excellence…but only through the grace of God. Parenting: It requires sacrificial love, commitment, consideration, planning, and the desire to give endless amounts of time, patience, understanding, seeking wisdom to impart wisdom … and yes many prayers. The path to success starts first with true love, guiding our children; by lovingly training – instruction for direction.   It’s not designer clothes, or the latest over priced sneakers, or the latest electronic gadgets, or expensive gestures that put us into financial ruin … It’s all about protection, safety, care and listening, spending quantitative – qualitative time … showing: truth, respect, honor through love toward our children. It’s living the talk …not just talking the talk. It’s correction without breaking spirits… Sound counsel without reckless words. Loving in the most excellent ways.  It is a mind set of self-discipline and order.  If we are seeking relationship with God growing in spiritual wisdom, you have a future of success.  Remember I said success not perfection that creates stress.  Our children model our behavior.  If we swear, they swear … If we grumble and complain they complain.   If we act out our anger; they will do the same… you get the point.  It’s not easy but take advice from a who knows for a fact that is the cause and effect.

Correction Connection:

So often, I witness the breaking of spirits in children, while I am out and about… This is coming from a mother that raised two children one of them,an extremely active child.  I can tell you losing your cool is not good.  Breaking your child’s esteem is greatly at risk. If your child doesn’t do well running errands with you then don’t bring him/her.  Work it in during your work week… before work, during lunch or after  work before pick-up.  Make your free time about family time, after all in the blink of an eye they are off to college and onto their own lives.

Do the Right Thing:

Shop On-line

If you are a single parent, try doing Wal-Mart on line grocery ordering,  a $50.00 minimum then pick it up later.  Check out your local markets see if they offer that service.  There services that are doing this for a minimal fee.  Do as much of on-line business as possible, technology is a great asset we can do on line banking, bill payments, shop for supplies for the house, school and work.

You can even keep up with the kids academics – You  don’t need to be hit with a last minute project and scramble around to help them complete it.  We can view the class syllabus on line; set your smart phones up for strategies and plan with you children.

Best Plans in Motion: The best plan is to have a plan. Use tools; smart-phones wall planners and organizers; you can buy those peel and stick on the wall.  Assigning chores;  is a necessary tool to teach order and direction.  My son and daughter were excellent at this because they were competitive.  Their competitiveness not only got the house cleaned and laundry done, they made sure it stayed that way.  I miss those days.  - The most important order of keeping life in order is getting rest … do your best to get you and everyone to bed early.  Nothing more stressful than working with no sleep.  The body needs to rest, repair and rejuvenate.  Do pray consistently daily find a time that works best for you. – Pray in you alone time; the kids nap time and pray as a family, it keeps good communication  between you and God and God and the children.  This is what I call faith in action…  Be blessed and rest in his presence.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

In Christ Love,

God’s Word on Love:
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not havelove, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy andw can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. … 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Encouragement Shared: Without the love of the Father we can do no good thing. Yes, Beloved this is a tough word. As Christians we are recognized by our love toward one another. It is love that compels us to do the right things in faith and in acts of obedience. Through our faith and willingness to be obedient we can triumph the power of the God in us through his faith, hope and love poured out in us.

Birthday Love:
Yesterday was my Birthday… and this year was quite special just as all the other years I have celebrated. It has been a month long celebration through love and creating new memories. Two weeks ago, my son Jon and his family came to visit from North Carolina… My parents came down from New York … My Brother and Sister in Law joined us from West Palm Beach, Florida where they live. Even my ex-husband and his lovely wife came with my son.
It started out as a visit to meet my daughter’s 6 month old baby boy JC. But quickly it tuned into a family reunion, a fun time for everyone. Having my all of my grand-children here was the best. It really wasn’t anything formal; we did activities, saw some sights, hung out at the pool and went to the beach and ate a lot. The most special part is that I even got to be with my Mother, just her and I for an afternoon just talking, laughing and reminiscing. Now, that is the; Birthday Love; Family … Nothing, better than family time. I treasure it, because most of my family lives in New York … My son in the Carolinas … that leaves just my daughter and I to celebrate usually just the two of us, and now there is three of us with her infant son JC. Those special times serve as a reminder that love is the most excellent gift we have to offer one another.

Love Deeply:
It is not always simplified, because after all there are differences, which can lead to conflict. I have learned through my journey of faith to this point, that nothing is more important than just love and acceptance. Disagreements can be done in love and most certainly in respect. The Bible states; …Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart. 1 Peter 1:22 Beloved it by our love we can inspire others through love and good deeds [Hebrews 10:24] …that is love in action.

The Word for Thought:
For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 1 John 3:11

I am thankful for God’s love in my life, and the blessings of family and good friends he uses to bless me through love and good deeds.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
