Proverbs of Inspiration: Proverbs 1 PROVERBS …for gaining wisdom and instruction; for understanding words of insight; Proverbs 1:2

Wisdom Shared: Today as I reflect on my very own personal study time … As I prepare to enter into a new day… a new month as well as transitioning into a new season I am thankful for God’s power at work.

Seeking the almighty God in his word; The Bible; Gaining words of wisdom along with inspiration to move forward and upward in God’s divine plan for life today… I wanted to send encouragement  as you move through your day on this first day of the month … to get into an attitude of wisdom – for wisdom is power.  It directs our heart, mind and journey through faith by the power of Christ in us.  It is through God’s Holy Presence we can be empowered to move as directed by instruction of the word of God and the prompting of the Holy Spirit deposited in us. Wisdom is a valuable tool that brings us revelation … restoration and motivation to act in faith; through obedience and love.  More importantly the revelation come at its appointed time, it will not prove to be false and it will bring us a transforming life in Christ.  It will bring us healing to our body, mind and spirit…Trust in the Lord –FOREVER!

Wisdom – Instruction-Insight:

Beloved as we move forward in faith, trust and believe God is with you in all you do!

May the words of this Chapter of Proverbs richly bless you as you mover through your day!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance, In Christ Love,

Wrestling God?

Jacob Wrestles With God-Genesis 32

22 That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok.23 After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. 24 So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. 25 When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. 26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”

But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”

“Jacob,” he answered.

28 Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[a]because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”

29 Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.”

But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there. Genesis 32:22-29

Jacob – wrestling God fights for us, God-of-Angel-Armies protects us.  Psalm 46:3 MSG

He who calls you is faithful and will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Wisdom Shared:

Jacob-wrestling God fights for us, God-of-Angel-Armies protects us. Psalm 46:7 –

I was listening to the daily audio bible app;  https://dailyaudiobible.com/ Inspiration came  through the revelation that prompted me to share this area of scripture. Jacob wrestled with God and God of Angel Armies protects us.  I find myself wresting with God, just  as Jacob during certain times in my life.  It is through that very inspiration of the word of God  we see…  He meets all needs  long before prayers are lifted up…He knows my coming and he knows my going.  There has been much wrestling with God over the years; in my singleness, my parental role; my work and the overall direction of my life.  Most definitely I am a flawed woman saved by grace. I have made many detours on my journey that have brought me to road blocks and detours.  However, by His unfailing love, grace and mercy; He is a God of second chances.    He is the lifer of our heads!

Beloved, God has  already paved the way for you! regardless of the circumstance that you may be currently wrestling with; Home- Marriage; Parenting or loss of a precious loved one;  Health- a chronic pain, injury or illness. At Work; Employer, a project time line or co-worker. Financial obligations- monthly bill paying expenses; rent/ mortgage  and ah…those unexpected expenses.   Remain confident, He who started a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. He has called his angels to keep our foot from stumbling on a stone-  For he will command his angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways; they will lift us up in their hands, so that we will not strike our foot against a stone. Psalms 91:11-12 …May this Psalm soothe your spirit just as the “Balm of Gilead” Jeremiah 8:22- It has spoken to me and given me strength and joy for the journey…I pray the same for your sons/daughters of King today.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

Love in Christ,

The Power of Prayer Works

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the assurances of the word; I ask for encouragements through the scriptures that brings us the revelations and the healing for our souls.   Father our desire is that your word be like the Balm in Gilead; That we can walk in godly confidence knowing that you Lord pour out your power for victory in our time of distresses, along with Angel of Armies protecting us.  We will commit and submit all thing to you. We thank you for strengthening our faith. We thank you for your all sustaining grace.  In Jesus name we pray… Amen!

Thelma & Louise” – A Lesson in where the mind goes we follow…

God’s Word:

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. Romans 8:30 NIV

Wisdom Shared: I have often heard it said, “Where the mind goes man follows” … It is because of that inclination God reiterates those oh so important points throughout the scriptures.  It was on my weekly call with my oldest, that during our conversation we spoke of the useless violence going on all around us.,,,shooting rampages…that lead to injuries and even death.  It was this profound word, that my oldest child stated; ” It is demonic… because of the violence in the music that people listen to eventually gets ingrained in their brain,  Then they act on it.”  As I was watching TV, and channel surfing I came across the movie; Thelma & Louise it brought to my thoughts. Where the mind goes the man/woman follows-it reiterates the need to think on positive thoughts.

Think on These Things

7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8Finally, brothers, whateveris true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think on these things. 9Whatever you have learned and received and heard from me, and seen in me, put these things into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.…

Godly To Do List:
  • Whatever is Honorable
  • Whatever is Right
  • Whatever is Pure
  • Whatever is lovely
  • Whatever is admirable
  • Whatever is excellent or praise worthy … Think on these things.
Thelma and Louise although it was a fictional movie there was an lesson that no bad deed goes unpunished.  It was a dark ending… but it does have an important hidden message,  … A life left to self is not good.  The life with out king Jesus, brings on sorrow and brokenness.  The truth is that without the power of God in us … Life’s hardships can lead us to a dead end.  Yes, Beloved, Jesus is calling us to remain in Him.  To believe in the promise through the word of hope through out the Bible. Although many may perceive that the Bible is an antiquated book that is not fitting to today’s standards.  Trust and believe that the opposite is true- If God is for us who can be against us? How often in the life of a Christian have we heard and often repeated that?… The truth Beloved God has called us and so generously equips us with every need-every circumstance. Yes because of God’s great love; we are more than conquerors.
Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,
In Christ Love,

Romans 8:30-32

More Than Conquerors

And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

More Than Conquerors
31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
