Forgiveness is Freedom

God’s Word on Forgiveness: … But if you refuse to forgive, your Father in heaven will not forgive your sins. Matthew 11:26

Encouragement Shared:

Not having the ability to forgive is sadly a symptom of “Pride”. The power of our pride lies to us and keeps us buying the lies of the enemy. Pride deceives us and robs us from walking in the victories waiting ahead. It also keeps us from growing in His wisdom and grace because; Pride says, “I know it all.” God’s word is pretty clear on forgiveness, and unfortunately it is an area that we need to visit on a consistent basis. John Newton Said… “That I am a great sinner, and that Christ is a great Saviour.” The truth is we are great sinners and we serve a great Saviour, Jesus Christ. Jesus is The Word that became flesh and made his dwelling among us. [John 1] and he brought us grace and truth. In Christ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. [Ephesians 1]

Forgiveness A Command of Christ:

Fast-Forward Button: Press Now for Forgiveness!

Jesus states immediately after the Model Prayer in Matthew 6:14- For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sin. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13
So in other words, forgive quickly through forgiveness there is freedom from the bondage of un-forgiveness. The decision not to forgive leads to ineffectiveness for the Kingdom of God; it leads to resentment; anger; rage; and hardness of heart. It also can affect our physical health. Make the decision to be free from the bondage that keeps us ensnared in sin that is toxic to our lives.

Matthew Chapter 11 reiterates the point …
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. Some manuscripts add verse 26, But if you refuse to forgive, your Father in heaven will not forgive your sins. Matthew 11:24-25

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the Great Saviour Christ that is the Word of truth that became flesh and made his dwelling among us. May my words be few and your words be many. That you would forgive my sins for I am a great sinner. That I would be faithful to forgive others whom would sin against me. I lift up the saints in the body of Christ your chosen people, holy and dearly loved, may we clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. May we bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances we may have against one another. May we forgive as you Lord have forgiven us. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. May we stand strong on the word of truth in unity through the bond of peace that is Christ. Thank you for the victories you give when we commit our anxieties and burdens to you. Thank you for your wisdom and guidance through the power of Christ and the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. In Christ name I pray…Amen!

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

Wrestling God?

Jacob Wrestles With God-Genesis 32

22 That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok.23 After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. 24 So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. 25 When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. 26 Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”

But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”

27 The man asked him, “What is your name?”

“Jacob,” he answered.

28 Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel,[a]because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”

29 Jacob said, “Please tell me your name.”

But he replied, “Why do you ask my name?” Then he blessed him there. Genesis 32:22-29

Jacob – wrestling God fights for us, God-of-Angel-Armies protects us.  Psalm 46:3 MSG

He who calls you is faithful and will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Wisdom Shared:

Jacob-wrestling God fights for us, God-of-Angel-Armies protects us. Psalm 46:7 –

I was listening to the daily audio bible app;  https://dailyaudiobible.com/ Inspiration came  through the revelation that prompted me to share this area of scripture. Jacob wrestled with God and God of Angel Armies protects us.  I find myself wresting with God, just  as Jacob during certain times in my life.  It is through that very inspiration of the word of God  we see…  He meets all needs  long before prayers are lifted up…He knows my coming and he knows my going.  There has been much wrestling with God over the years; in my singleness, my parental role; my work and the overall direction of my life.  Most definitely I am a flawed woman saved by grace. I have made many detours on my journey that have brought me to road blocks and detours.  However, by His unfailing love, grace and mercy; He is a God of second chances.    He is the lifer of our heads!

Beloved, God has  already paved the way for you! regardless of the circumstance that you may be currently wrestling with; Home- Marriage; Parenting or loss of a precious loved one;  Health- a chronic pain, injury or illness. At Work; Employer, a project time line or co-worker. Financial obligations- monthly bill paying expenses; rent/ mortgage  and ah…those unexpected expenses.   Remain confident, He who started a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. He has called his angels to keep our foot from stumbling on a stone-  For he will command his angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways; they will lift us up in their hands, so that we will not strike our foot against a stone. Psalms 91:11-12 …May this Psalm soothe your spirit just as the “Balm of Gilead” Jeremiah 8:22- It has spoken to me and given me strength and joy for the journey…I pray the same for your sons/daughters of King today.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

God’s Word: Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.  Proverbs 22:6

The Encouragement: #Training #Instruction #Love

Do not seek to be perfect, seek instead to work at love in excellence…but only through the grace of God. Parenting: It requires sacrificial love, commitment, consideration, planning, and the desire to give endless amounts of time, patience, understanding, seeking wisdom to impart wisdom … and yes many prayers. The path to success starts first with true love, guiding our children; by lovingly training – instruction for direction.   It’s not designer clothes, or the latest over priced sneakers, or the latest electronic gadgets, or expensive gestures that put us into financial ruin … It’s all about protection, safety, care and listening, spending quantitative – qualitative time … showing: truth, respect, honor through love toward our children. It’s living the talk …not just talking the talk. It’s correction without breaking spirits… Sound counsel without reckless words. Loving in the most excellent ways.  It is a mind set of self-discipline and order.  If we are seeking relationship with God growing in spiritual wisdom, you have a future of success.  Remember I said success not perfection that creates stress.  Our children model our behavior.  If we swear, they swear … If we grumble and complain they complain.   If we act out our anger; they will do the same… you get the point.  It’s not easy but take advice from a who knows for a fact that is the cause and effect.

Correction Connection:

So often, I witness the breaking of spirits in children, while I am out and about… This is coming from a mother that raised two children one of them,an extremely active child.  I can tell you losing your cool is not good.  Breaking your child’s esteem is greatly at risk. If your child doesn’t do well running errands with you then don’t bring him/her.  Work it in during your work week… before work, during lunch or after  work before pick-up.  Make your free time about family time, after all in the blink of an eye they are off to college and onto their own lives.

Do the Right Thing:

Shop On-line

If you are a single parent, try doing Wal-Mart on line grocery ordering,  a $50.00 minimum then pick it up later.  Check out your local markets see if they offer that service.  There services that are doing this for a minimal fee.  Do as much of on-line business as possible, technology is a great asset we can do on line banking, bill payments, shop for supplies for the house, school and work.

You can even keep up with the kids academics – You  don’t need to be hit with a last minute project and scramble around to help them complete it.  We can view the class syllabus on line; set your smart phones up for strategies and plan with you children.

Best Plans in Motion: The best plan is to have a plan. Use tools; smart-phones wall planners and organizers; you can buy those peel and stick on the wall.  Assigning chores;  is a necessary tool to teach order and direction.  My son and daughter were excellent at this because they were competitive.  Their competitiveness not only got the house cleaned and laundry done, they made sure it stayed that way.  I miss those days.  - The most important order of keeping life in order is getting rest … do your best to get you and everyone to bed early.  Nothing more stressful than working with no sleep.  The body needs to rest, repair and rejuvenate.  Do pray consistently daily find a time that works best for you. – Pray in you alone time; the kids nap time and pray as a family, it keeps good communication  between you and God and God and the children.  This is what I call faith in action…  Be blessed and rest in his presence.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance,

In Christ Love,
